Very relieved .......
I am very relieved to say that the results of the biopsy from my recent
endoscopy
querying suspected Barretts have come back as negative. All other biopsy also clear. I know I am extremely lucky , it has been a very worrying time and it was such a relief to be able to tell my son as well.

Swallowing difficulty, have to chew meds.
( I was referred for an
endoscopy
and a barium swallow.....no reason for my problem was found.) Any opinions / advice would be gratefully received, as always. Thankyou.

Endoscopy?
Hi all, just asking if anyone was in the same ‘panic mode’ when told I was going to need an
endoscopy
I haven’t seen it mentioned much before but when I told the nurse who did my pre-procedure check about how much I was dreading it, she suggested having it done through my nose!

Gallstones are actually a hernia/ulcers
I had my
endoscopy
this week to see if they could find the suspected gallstones. Instead they found a large hiatus hernia, plus multiple stomach ulcers. This explains why I have been in so much pain, in a constant state of nausea, and off work for the past month.

Stomach cancer
She then went for
endoscopy
app. The girl who did the
endoscopy
was suspicious of malignancy in stomach. She noticed bleeding in stomach as well. My wife was admitted and 2 days later the consultant told her that he is not worried about her having cancer.

I finally on my last er visit got an
endoscopy
and my pancreas is in pretty bad shape. They said that my pancreas may need to be totally removed. I met with a surgeon at university of Miami medical center and he is presenting my case at the pancreas board meeting today.

Endoscopy was a bust.............
I got to the hospital fairly early for my apt. at 1.30pm and i was the second patient on the list. Dr lee came to see me and he was lovely. He has hinted that i might need a valve replacement as it is thickening quite a lot. I don't remember much about it as the sedation was working and afterwards

Trouble relaxing and sleeping
I have also had a colonoscopy,
endoscopy
, and a Brain MRI. All were ok. So, I assume it is my anxiety. They did find three small hernias that they say are not causing any issues and two aneurysms in my spleen that they have been monitoring and say that they are not causing any issues either.

Barretts oesophagus
., he was in the RAF and had sarcoidosis which they seemed to belief was a factor Report from recent
endoscopy
appeared to be all good, however there was a "possible" Barretts Tongue seen and so biopsy has been taken to rule Barretts out.

Pain Investigations - IBS?
However, capsule
endoscopy
some months later was clear and so I was discharged with suspected IBS instead. My pain has been present over the years, with right-side tenderness, but I was too anxious to go back feeling like I was wasting the doctors' time.

Forum has been source of sanity in my B12 mystery journey
I don't want to go down road of
endoscopy
/colonscopy; I can't handle that prep anyway. I'll do Cologuard if needed. "Skin crawling" recently started which I hadn't heard of before (feels like a worm moving under skin), dry mouth/eyes (SSA, SSB <0.2 so I wouldn't have Lupus or Sjogren's).

A 4 Year Journey
Had a Colonoscopy and an
Endoscopy
to rule out any other causes for this bleeding and to identify causes for my abnormal low hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. Results indicate rectal bleeding is due to effects of radiation treatments. In June 2024 began urinary bleeding intermittently.

I GAVE UP.
It was through this referral that one of the issues raised, was to have an
endoscopy
to rule out silent reflux. The attending hospital doctor saw the list of meds I was allergic to, and commented that he would not be surprised that I could also be allergic to Levothyroxine.

Scared
Hi, I'm a 36 yr old male. 10 years ago I underwent multiple test fit test, breath test, colonoscopy, and
endoscopy
. At the end of it I was diagnosed with IBS. In August I got covid and my health anxiety sparked up again. Everything ache and pain I thought was cancer.

Varying results on FIT tests
I could only get in with a nurse practioner, but it allowed me to get
endoscopy
and colonoscopy scheduled. I told her history of IBS, positive home FIT test and have lost 10 lbs in 6 months (now weigh only 105 at 5’7”) and she scheduled me like 5 weeks out (appt August 7).
