confused?
I have also had an
Endoscopy
to check for varices. The
endoscopy
was normal, no varices. At the latest US I spoke to the sonographer and asked how severe the cirrhosis was.

Endoscopy
Next week I have my first
endoscopy
which is causing anxiety due to this. Other procedures it’s just been a case of getting on with, as will this will have to be. I would prefer not to go down the sedation route. Any advice on getting through it? As ever, very much appreciated.

Hoping for some coping advice
Hi all, I’ve suffered with IBS for years, had colonoscopy,
endoscopy
and CT scan end 2021, all clear. Recently had proctitis (treated well) but now my bowels have gone crazy and new feelings I’ve never had!! Really bad bloating, gurgling, stomach cramps pain under left rib, going into back.

study as may also have sleep apnea He’s re running all my bloods for me in 2 weeks and said if my iron hadn’t risen now 6 weeks after supplementing then it’s a clear indication I’m not retaining supplements and nutrients and thus could be due to the 2 stomach ulcers that were found recently via

I feel like a broken record & apologize
I have to go for an
endoscopy
in the near future and am terrified that they will not sedate me, terrified I will not wake up, terrified I will die. I am a mess and I admit it.

Hashimotos, Hiatus Hernia & acid reflux
In October 2023 after an
endoscopy
I was diagnosed with a very small hiatus hernia and told to continue with the medication but apart from the side effects neither Omeprazole or Lansoprazole stopped the acid reflux & I felt as if the acid reflux was made worse.

Im having an
endoscopy
soon, to check for varices and an ultrasound is due shortly too, before seeing them in clinic. The doctor knows that the fibroscan procedure was difficult. The radiographers said that my ribs were very close together. It took a long time before they got a reading.

My doctors won’t investigate
And a very recent
endoscopy
showed my stomach lining was inflamed. But my GP is not making the link to pernicious anaemia despite my diet being rich in B12 foods and me already taking iron and b12 supplements. Anaemia runs in my family as well as bowel cancer. I didn’t know there was a link before.

Can diet cause SIBO?
I had blood tests, stool tests, MRI,
endoscopy
+ biopsy the first time I was diagnosed, and everything was normal. Not celiac or diabetes, no previous surgery, no history of PPIs. I read that stress can cause SIBO?

I had an
endoscopy
when first diagnosed with PA and benign polyps were found. That was nearly 7 years ago; does anyone know if this test should be done regularly? Also, I have had symptoms recently that worry me a bit but they could be a result of the tail end of a lingering virus.

Just a few more questions about Cirrhosis
Only one more day until I go for my
endoscopy
as they picked up varices on my cat scan. May [or most definitely will, according to my gastroenterologist] have to band them. This whole procedure has got me thinking again, and I inevitably then end up with more questions [sorry].

PA/stomach pain
Got diagnosed with PA/AIG in the fall via an
endoscopy
. I am on B12 injections. My stomach pain has gotten steadily worse instead of better even though I am on a very restrictive diet. Is there any reason for me to believe that I have something else going on?

Budesonide
I've had the capsule
endoscopy
twice which has shown ulcers. My consultant was bordering between BAM or Crohn's but he said there wasn't enough evidence of it but there was a possibility of BAM. Since then I have been put on Budesonide for 12 weeks.

Don't know what's real anymore...
My doctor has referred me for an

as he wonders if it is all reflux related, bit seeing the consultant Thursday and now I've developed itching all over my body. Since stopping Amitryptiline my burning tingling sensations have come back and now this on top!

G P telephone consultation
He also mentioned a referral for an
Endoscopy
to check for varices. Since the call I rang the
Endoscopy
dept to chase it up and have an appointment in less than 2,weeks I also asked the GP for referral to dietitian and he thought I might be refused (due to bmi) He was going to try though.

an update to my planned triple bypass surgery on this Monday
My surgeon also informed me earlier he had change on vein retrieval and instead of small
endoscopy
scars he was cutting from groin to ankle, not using my radial artery as discussed in April…… so this was a big thing to get my head around but I was there knew I desperately needed to have this surgery
