Is there a relationship between AFib and high blood pressure
When in AFib can it raise your blood pressure or can high blood pressure trigger AFib. In April/May last year I was I told I had possible AFib after starting palpitations which didn't abate and subsequent 24hr ECG and Echocardigram . Also had a raise BNP. I was perscribed bisoprol by my GP but it

Which tests next? Right Bundle Branch Block with painful symptoms.
Hi All, I'm really hoping that someone has been through something similar to what I am, and can guide me on where to go next. For the past ~5 years, I've been suffering with heart "problems", over the last couple of years these have really intensified, and I am no longer to live a good quality life

AF query
Hi, I was diagnosed with AF in July last year and put onto Apixaban and Bisoprolol. I then really struggled walking anywhere with breathlessness and although I was Asymptomatic before being diagnosed I wasn’t breathless at all ( AF found during routine pulse test by Nurse). I was advised to carry on

Mystified
Hello everyone, Apologies for the long post, trying to give all relevant information. 10/8/21 I woke in the early hours with what initially felt like indigestion. I rapidly progressed to pain in right arm which went up my neck into my jaw, and had very high BP. I rang 111 who sent an ambulance. They

Brain Fog, Dizziness, Ear Fullness, Tremors, Pins & Needles. Started 12 months ago. Made progress, not there yet though
Hey Guys, This all started 12 months ago, a bout of dizziness hit me out of the blue, it was a stressful time, also recently had mono and Covid (antibody test confirmation). I think this is when the health anxiety kicked in and the situation snowballed. That was when all the symptoms mentioned above

Heart palpitations on hydroxychloroquine?
Hydroxychloroquine and heart palpitations? I've been suffering with palpitations most days for quite a while and take 200mg hydroxychloroquine once daily since October 2018... May be purely coincidence but having missed my tablet last night have not had any palpitations at all this morning. Just wondered

Just need to talk to someone that might understand. Sorry about the long story
Hello, first time posting but read everyday since registering after my first heart attack Nov 2020. I'm 58 and to date have had 2 documented heart attacks (probably more like 3 -4). No significant obstruction found on the 2 angiograms I've had, normal Echo and MRI after my first HA. Normal 7 day ECG

None the wiser
Had my heart stress test at the Bristol Heart Institute this week to discover why I've started having episodes of breathlessness/pressure on exertion. The plan was to use an exercise bike to increase my heart rate ti 128 bpm then use ultrasound echocardiogram and ECG to look at my heart, Before I'd even

Hi everyone I’ve been to see my cardiologist this morning Good news after having successful Cardioversion. My heart is better than before, no concerns. He told me to stop the Apixaban but I’m a little apprehensive, my chadsvads score is 1 (female) My weight as also dropped and I will continue on

Microvascular Angina Confirmed
Results came back from my Myocardial Profusion Scan last Thursday. A&E had suggested Microvascular Dysfunction/Angina May 2021 after picking up the issue on ECG. It’s been quite some journey to get a solid diagnosis. I first went to the GP in August 2020 after chest pains that started around Feb/March

I consider myself lucky
I guess I am one of the lucky one's. I had all three shots, didn't feel good for a couple of days, but I have had worse. The new flu shot for senior bothered me more the Cd shots. 2 1/2 years ago I was diagnosed with A Fib. But on meds, Eliquis, heart meds. But I had a 100 pounds of fluid around me
