Concerned Wife
Hi, hope this is OK to post. My husband has had mild RLS for many years but last weekend his symptoms suddenly became extreme and constant, seemingly out of the blue. For context, he is 30, and has taken antidepressants for many years without any increase in symptoms. He has also been taking amipiprazole

Tachycardia
Hello, Looking to find out if anyone else has been through similar. Back in March I went out for a cycle and my watch noted a heart rate of 200. Following a visit to the gp about it, I had a 2 week event recorder which picked up an abnormal rhythm, which my gp didn’t know what it was. It was 17 beats

AF and Heart Parameters
I experienced AF first in 2012. It was recorded in Holter Monitoring. On medication since then. Holter Monitoring done once in a year. No episode recorded. Actually my episodes occur suddenly last for few seconds. ECG sometimes show tachycardia, Echocardiography is normal, TMT recent time is negative

GCA now TIA, irregular heartbeat
Early August I was diagnosed with a ‘left front ischaemic stroke secondary to new atrial fibrillation…heartbeat irregularly irregular’. It was quite scary as I lost language and ability to order numbers for a short time. Hot foot to A & E, cue ECG, bloods, MRI. Cholesterol 8.0. Prescribed Edoxaban,

Potential AF? Bisoprolol for management?
Hi everyone, I’m mainly looking for advice, tips, anyone who has experienced something similar and how they now go about managing it. I started having episodes of heart palpitations at the back end of 2020, where my heart rate would randomly spike to over 150bpm when resting, as it only happened a

Post Op Clinic today
I just wanted to update folks on my progress. I've been to Papworth this afternoon for clinic, my surgery was 9 1/2 weeks ago. Whilst it was a bit of a production line process they did an ECG, Chest X-Ray and checked my Stats. Since I've been home , about 2 hours after leaving clinic, I've been asked

Breathlessness when walking up slight gradients/stairs
Further to my previous post about breathlessness, I finally had an audience with the Pope, masquerading as my GP (my he's aged a lot since the last time I saw him - mind you, haven't we all. My goal was to get a Acth test arranged, as I'm convinced my problem is adrenal related and I'm concerned about

calf pain
I’ve phoned the dr multiple times about this and they get me to check for lumps, heat, swelling
ect
which I never ever have, just the horrible cramp, it’s on and off, not constant. I can’t enjoy myself because I’m constantly worried about this pain.

2 week Holter moniter
does anyone know how a two-week ECG monitor is different to a 24 hour monitor - in terms of the different wearable device? I have previously had a 24-hour ECG, but I have just seen someone during my echocardiogram and they mentioned that a two week monitor is a different device.
