Hi all, I am looking for a bit of advice/reassurance. I am 36 year old, healthy/fit mum. I was suffering from tiredness and occasional heart palpitations for a couple of months - I am incredibly anxious when it comes to my health and have had a really stressful year so I initially put my symptoms down

Just wanted to share my experience of this procedure in case anyone out there is as nervous about it as I was. I had been in Fast AF for almost a year and although medication was helping my symptoms it wasn't knocking me back into sinus rhymn and so cardioversion was recommended. I had to report to

Atrial fibrillation with variable conduction vertical heart
Was first diagnosed in October 2021, and firstly will say hate taking medication, as done 55 years without! My BP has a high diastolic reading, 90 to 112. Recently had a couple of eposides, one of passing out, other double vision for half hour, (third time that has happened since November), both times

Anxiety disorder and all day breathlessness.
Hi everyone. I am new. I have been diagnosed as having anxiety disorder. Since summer last year I have had alot of panic attacks. But before that I had heart problems. I am overweight. My heart rate at rest is 45-50 most days. Every day I feel like I am breathing through wet cloth and when I go up stairs

Hi I have already felt supported and informed by this group and wanted to share my experience in the hope I can continue to learn about my recent diagnoses. I am 67 and other than having COPD was in reasonable health even though I am a bit overweight and probably drink more wine than is good for me

More Challenges to Overcome!
Some of you may recall that for some years, I've frequently experienced ectopic beats. They've been calmed down with a lowish dose of a beta blocker (Propranolol) and don't usually give me too much cause for concern......until about a week ago when they re-emerged, but with a different manifestation

ECG showing abnormalities
I had a ECG showing T wave inversion V1-6 with ST depression in V5-6 from twelve lead check. I’ve been having intermittent twinges/zaps in left chest area but only when sitting not when excercising of any kind.I am having an echocardiogram shortly and if abnormal then a consultation with a cardiologist

Update on me/angiogram/contrast
A while back I wrote about how I had a blockage in my legs and would have to have an angiogram/plasty with contrast. My vascular doctor and nephrologist worked together and came up with they would hydrate me 4 hours before the procedure and 2 hours after, also the vascular would only use as much contrast

Samsung 6 smart watch
Does anyone use the BP and ECG facilities on a Samsung6 smart watch ? I occasionally get AF reading but my cardiologist says the results are unreliable.
