Kardia/ KardiaCare.. is it for me?
I'm now at 11 days after an ablation with rapid and irregular heartbeat and still feeling tired and light-headed. I've just had the follow-up appointment date, it's in early September. I had an ecg last week and am waiting to hear the outcome and plan, if any, from the arrhythmia nurse. I've been looking

hi everyone I hope someone can help I had open heart surgery 10 months ago to repair my mitral valve. I subsequently had AF and was told my ejection fraction was 40. Since then my EJ has improved a bit (still not in normal ranges) and the AF has gone. I have however continued with a high percentage

Beginning The journey, not quite sure why
Ok, we’ve all seen the adverts on Facebook asking for volunteers for people to join health tests/screenings etc. So I did one about two years ago on liver and found I had a fatty liver, which was moderate. Went back the next year and had got it down to mild. This year I saw one on lung cancer, they are

Hi everyone, I have received the following from my consultant and been discharged but tbh, I concerned by what I am reading after passing out last year. Feeling overwhelmed
After a routine lung screening CT scan I was diagnosed with mild emphysema and some calcification of my heart arteries. I was also referred for a further high definition CT Scan to confirm bronchiectasis. My GP prescribed Salamol which did nothing to help the breathlessness and chest tightness I'd been

Cryo ablation 6 days ago..am I back in AF?
I've been for an ECG this afternoon the results of which are being passed to the arrhythmia nurse team at the JR in Oxford, where I had a cryo ablation last Friday. AF symptoms of breathlessness and feeling faint and then some for a couple of days and now a bit more settled but irregular and fast pulse

AF on holiday
I am a long-time AF sufferer (in the genes - thanks Dad!). I've had 4 ablations and 7 cardio versions. When I moved from London, I was referred to Papworth and, after tests, they were ready to try another CV. But, amazingly, on the day, my heart was back in sinus rhythm and there it has stayed for

I had an AFIB incident picked up on an Apple Watch. At an appointment I was given an instant ECG showing no afib and then a 24 hour halter also showing no afib. I bought a wearable ECG device and I wore it for pretty much a year and I’ve had no incident of afib, but plenty of pacs and PVCs. An EKG showed

5 Days Post Ablation and getting an ECG
After three days of being extremely breathless and light headed following a cryo ablation at the JR last Friday I'm now feeling more settled, my pulse still fast and irregular but not as extreme. I had a call from an arrhythmia nurse (at last) at the JR who was very helpful. The next step is an ECG
