Anyone else felt like this ?
I had a thyroid scan a week ago and also an
echocardiogram
and had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours . I feel horrendous still , I had a full hysterectomy 3 years ago and put a lot of the symptoms down to that originally !

28 Year Old with Afib
The next day I got in with a local Cardiologist where they performed a
Echocardiogram
on me which also came back with no abnormalities. The Doc wrote me a script for Metoprolol XL 25 mg to take once daily. I see my Cardiologist again on Friday 2/14 to to over next steps.

SVT, bad enough for ablation?
I've now had the full range of tests (24 hour monitor, MRI, ECGs,
echocardiogram
) and have been diagnosed with SVT. The first cardiologist I saw was very dismissive. I was told I had 'tacchycardia' and not much more, other than to take beta blockers twice daily.

Micro vascular angina, coronary artery spasm now heart murmur and possible valve disease
He had a look at my swollen feet and legs which have been getting worse, then had a conversation outside with my consultant and they have taken me off amlodipine and ordered an
echocardiogram
and will speak to me again once I have had this done.

Pvcs
Since March I’ve had multiple ekgs, blood tests, chest X-rays,
echocardiogram
and 2 holter monitors one I currently have on. And all have basically came back “normal” aside of pvc/pac and a run of SVT that was only 6 seconds.

Advice on Pulmonary and Aortic Leak
So paid for a private
echocardiogram
which has shown two leaks. I'm taking the results to my GP. But after being fobbed off by everyone im worried something bad is going to happen to me. The GP has dismissed my symptoms as nothing to do with the leaks saying maybe I have anxiety.

Mitral regurgitation diagnoses
I have recently had an
echocardiogram
since having symptoms of bounding palpitations, fatigue and dizziness. The echo showed some mild regurgitation and my cardiologist didn’t seem too bothered.

It is a scary place
Just before Christmas I had a
Echocardiogram
and totally out of the blue I was told I have a dilated left ventricle and a regurgitating valve. Ejection fraction is 15-20%. I was shocked as I only went to the GP initially as I was short of breath.

Any experience of Amiodarone? The potential side effects sound frightening.
The NHS wheels have turned very slowly for an
echocardiogram
, then finally an outpatient appointment in November.

Who would you recommend?
The GP organised an
echocardiogram
that was carried out today. Following the feedback from the scan it identified one or two issues but nothing major. I am booked into see the GP for the results in 10 days.

Sinus tachycardia causes?
Chest X ray clear and an
echocardiogram
where the only outcome is my tachycardia of 140bpm at rest. I've had persistent tachycardia since November. Ranging from 120s-150s resting. I've got a 24 hr tape on Wednesday.

AFIB & Adv Prostate Cancer Shocking Cardioversion
To today I get my 3 rd CARDIOVERSION & pre-empted by a TEE ( trans-esophagus
echocardiogram
). Been there done that before. At 1st thought it from my Abiraterone & Prednisone & Lupron combo cancer meds; wrong it was probably from lifting 7- 40# bags water softener salt + 1 40# box cat litter.

Myopericarditis at 20 years old
Hi, I'm new here, just before Christmas I left work with chest pain that spread to my throat and left arm, I went to the hospital where I was admitted and had many tests done, bloods showed my Troponin was up slightly and an
Echocardiogram
showed inflammation in both my heart and Pericardium, I was diagnosed

I had an ECG early Dec and an

end Dec with results tomorrow (so maybe should wait to see what comes of that but wanted clarification on a couple of things before I go in).
