I have asked my GP if I could see the actual report of my
echocardiogram
diagnosing my mild left ventricular heart failure.I was diagnosed with this condition in December 2017 and I have only ever seen a Cardiologist once and I was not told how well my heart is pumping.

AF medicines check.
I was diagnosed with AF two years ago and had a cardioversion three months later after an
echocardiogram
and taking Apixaban and Bisoprolol for those three months. The cardioversion was successful and I was then put on Flecainide 50 mgs twice a day.

Citalopram and hydroxy
It was decided with the heamotologist that I will wait to find out the results of the
echocardiogram
before starting the hydroxy as if there's no underlying heart problem maybe stick to the original plan of starting hydroxy at 60??

Edoxoban side effects?
I had an
echocardiogram
4 days ago and an appointment with my GP for the results in 10 days time. Should I try and see her sooner to discuss these new symptoms? My heart rate according to my fitbit varies between 63 (resting) and 112 when active.

Isolated ventricular & Atrial ectopics
I have been for an
echocardiogram
and have received a letter stating I have ‘significant valvular abnormalities. I was fitted with 24 hr monitor and the report shows ‘predominantly sinus rhythm isolated ventricular & atrial ectopics. What does this all mean?

Newly diagnosed with aortic aneurysm and bicuspid aortic valve
I'm to have a repeat
Echocardiogram
done in two years, so I imagine they're not too concerned yet. I think I'll be having a CT scan of the aorta again at some point this year to see if that's grown.

Sartins side effects
I have been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy after
echocardiogram
. After a year from first seeing my GP. Consultant is putting me on sartins, don’t know which one yet until my GP prescribes. Are there any problems with this medication.

Ablation for ectopic beats
I have so far had a 7 day ECG monitor and a
echocardiogram
. This showed I have a high burden of ectopics 34% but my
echocardiogram
was essentially normal with at most a mild degree of aortic regurgitation. Currently taking Atenelol 25mg which hasn’t subsided my symptoms.

Wenckebach heart block\ benign?
He also ordered i have a stress test done and
echocardiogram
, which all came back normal. I guess my question is should i be worried? The only symptom i have that bothers me is palpitations which are quite frequent. I have severe health anxiety and this is driving me insane.

Anniversary Echocardiogram
Mangaged to chase down my anniversary appointment after being ping-pong between cardiology and GP. Apparently should I have further symptoms, then GP care kicks in, but for existing AVR reviews, then its cardiology and the ever changing locum. Long gone the days and benefits of continuity of care. Anyway

Confused after angiogram
After having an
echocardiogram
I was told that a heart valve was allowing some blood to flow back, severe stenosis, an angiogram was done to see if there were any other problems which would be carried out at the same time as the heart valve.

My Mitral Valve Prolapse - Replacement Valve
On diagnosis that my MVP was in the severe range, would need medical intervention to correct and that a review of my TOE (the
echocardiogram
) indicated that repair of the existing valve was very unlikely my surgeon gave me two choices of heart valves, a tissue value or a mechanical valve should a repair

New to Afib
Over the years the Cardivlol has slowly gone up to address my heart rate but each time it would settle then increase upwards again after a while.
echocardiogram
showed heart was healed from cancer treatment damage -left ventricular damage. Latest one showed Healthy heart but beats too fast.

Sudden brief bouts of fast HR and ectopics
I had an
echocardiogram
a couple of weeks ago and it was commented what a sound heart I had structurally and that my bi-cuspid valve looks good with no signs of calcification. This was all good news, but it is not the muscle I am worried about, it is the wiring.

Continuous PVCS
There's a thickening of the left ventricle wall, but it's not severe, according to the
echocardiogram
. The doctor said the pvcs were harmless and just to ignore them. I'm beyond being able to ignore them!
