Does Sinemet Have Residual Benefits?
I remain fearful about
dyskinesia
, but very satisfied for now. Is there some residual benefit to Sinemet after a few months or am I just feeling "placebo effect?"

ANXIETY TREMOR DYSKINESIA
If you have anxiety and tremor as part of your symptoms, with occasional
dyskinesia
, would you say you tremor more, or your
dyskinesia
increases with anxiety? Like when you are on the queue at a post office, or supermarket. Have you experienced all symptoms together?

Niacin and Butyrate: Nutraceuticals Targeting Dysbiosis and Intestinal Permeability in Parkinson’s Disease
Niacin PD patients are found to have significantly decreased niacin levels compared to age-matched healthy controls [52]. This has been attributed to both the disease itself and the medication used to attenuate motor symptoms [58]. Sinemet, the most commonly used PD medication, includes carbidopa, which

By middle of November 2020 I was diagnosed with a “clinical picture suggestive of PSP”, being freezing of gait (FoG) my claim. This is the end of a long road of claims (inbalance, neck pain, radiculopathies, a.s.o.) after being submitted in November 2015 to a ACDF surgery to decompress my spinal cord

Any DBS prep advice?
Medication onset
dyskinesia
? Sleep? Digestion? - Will he be asleep or awake during surgery? What do either entail? - What does post-surgery care look like? What is the program / schedule for this? What does follow-up look like? How easy will it be to connect with someone if there are issues?

Dangers of Opioids for treatment of RLS
In addition to augmentation, it has caused a
dyskinesia
of my arms and legs and torso but over the years I have been able to reduce the dosage to a 0.125 tablet which I take 3 times a day and at least I have some sleep. It is not a great solution but at least it doesn't mess with your mind.

Focused Ultrasound
I had my FUS treatment two days ago at Sonimodul and although it wasn’t easy with a full on
dyskinesia
attack I really enjoyed the sonications where I knew my brain was being fixed. My left side is symptom free now and I can walk. Thoroughly recommended.

Mucuna Dyskinesia Shocker!
I'd read about
dyskinesia
and also heard that Mucuna offered the same relief but didn't cause
dyskinesia
. I maintained a single 25/125 Madopar for some reason and took it in the morning along with the Az and Requip. The rest of the day was just Mucuna.

Gratitude; transitioning away from Levodopa; emulating John Pepper's Azilect program
He would likely still be suffering from hallucinations, intense
dyskinesia
, inability to communicate, sharp cognitive decline and generally, feeling pretty hopeless.

Anyone else taking Ongentys?
For the past 6-8 months my levodopa has not been doing the job. My dosage was one 50/200 mg Sinemet ER (Extended Release) and one 25/100 CR (Continuous Release) every three hours. I also was taking two Selegiline 5 mg daily. I was wearing off in 2 hours. If i waited till my next 3 hour dosing time,
