Hallucination side effect & Medication Management
hi! new here.... My dad is newly diagnosed and is having hallucinations from his Parkinson meds. He is bradykinesia dominant with lower back pain. Right now we're not sure what is causing the hallucinations but I think I have a good idea, just that the doc is not on board with the titration process.

Sleep Apnea and MS
Morning Fam, Just curious, anyone out there been diagnosed with sleep apnea due to their MS? I have an appointment with a pulminologist/sleep doc today to discuss sleep issues and was just curious how frequent, if at all, this is. Thanks

I Need Help with Bipolar Friend
I have seen many of you post here who have bipolar disorder. I am a member here because of GAD. I have been fine for about 3 years now; my last episode of anxiety/depression lasted for several months. I am asking your help because I can feel my anxiety starting to manifest, due to having to deal

wondering about lithium orotate
I have recently been told, by a naturopath , that when receving B12 injections it is a good idea to take 5mg of Lithium Orotate daily. They felt it helped transport B12 out of the blood stream and into the cells. I am wondering if anyone else has heard of this? I don't know if it is some kind of scam

Moviprep & panicking
So I finally got my date today for colonoscopy this coming Wednesday. I thought they’d give me Citrafleet for the prep as my dad had one last week and that’s what he got but for some reason they gave me MoviPrep and I’m freaking out a little (a lot). I’ve read so much about this prep and it really

Physical Anxiety manifested in Inner Ears
All, I was diagnosed with GAD in 2012 when I was going thru what ended up being a 2 year journey through physical anxiety in my entire body. When I finally found a terrific psychiatrist, my life was saved by her putting me on Cymbalta and Abilify. I was well!!!!! That was 2014. Then, in Jan. 2021

Well it is me again
Hello again, Well yesterday was my 1st therapy appointment. I think it went well, I do like her. Not really sure what to expect out of it all still. But I am open... On that note, today at work was a very bad anxiety and depression day. I feel it is only getting worse no matter what I do or how much

Car Accident #2
I was rear-ended about 2 years ago. Not too bad but I'm still dealing with a torn meniscus and it aggravated my arthritis. I have to give a deposition...which I will chat about that later. But about 6 months ago I was rear-ended AGAIN near the same highway but this time it totaled my car. I have PTSD

Can’t bear that CPAP mask - try a didgeridoo!
The articles that pop up when you’re not really looking. How about a didgeridoo to help with sleep apnoea? I wonder if other wind instruments might help. It’s an old one… https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1360393/?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

Fatty Liver disease and Triglyceride levels
Is it common place for people with fatty liver disease to have elevated triglyceride levels? Would you expect triglyceride levels to correlate with a fibroscan CAP score? There's also a particular type of cholesterol associated with the liver called VLDL: Is this a test that an NHS GP can do or is

AF at night
hi, a brief history, I have Paroxysymal Attial fibrillation which started 2 and a half years ago. I had an ablation in December and since then I have had two episodes waking me up in the middle of the night which have lasted 40 and 20 minutes respectively and gone back into sinus rhythm without intervention

Pay rise turned down at work, sending me into an episode.
I just need to vent. I had been getting on really well, recovering from a bad episode of anxiety a couple of years ago, work was going really well, I was helping the projects I work on move forward, working hard, leading well, mentoring new staff, and feeling generally a lot better about my work life

What can I say to my BPD, 32 year old son?
For the last 5 years or so I have been searching for resources for my son. He was in therapy for a year and a half, and was diagnosed with just about every personality disorder you can name; Borderline, narcissistic, compulsive etc. They also said he could be bipolar and has a lot of phobias. He quit
