Any advice - could this be endo?
Went back onto
Dianette
. November 2014 saw me have 2 major episodes of abdominal pain requiring attendance at A&E. Pain has been left sided every day since then. GP referred me to colo-rectal and urology as they seemed the most likely causes of stomach pains.

The pill - advice / experiences
I took
dianette
years ago and that's the only one that agreed with me. But you can't have that again. Since then I had microgynon (nausea / heartburn), cerelle / cerezette (anxiety / headaches) and I tried several patches as well I think.

I was put back on the combined pill (
dianette
) to see if the migraines came back. Which inevitably they did. Essentially being on the combined pill is the only thing that controls the bleeding.

Tips for TTC
I'm about to finish taking the pill (
Dianette
) and my husband and I are hoping to start trying for a baby. I'm extremely anxious about it all as I've had gyn issues since I was young and am terrified I can't conceive.

Advice needed - I have both endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome
- which I tried, When I came off the
dianette
I was like a different person - I felt OK to go out and socialise where as before I would have sat at home crying at the thought - my boyfriend urged me not to go back on the
dianette
- I tried others including cerazette - this made me vomit during the night

Can coming off the contraceptive pill bring back all my hypothyroid symptoms?
I decided to come off
Dianette
as I read a lot about estrogen dominance and also being on the pill long term can't be good for me. I came off it 3 weeks ago and the constipation, weight gain, lump in throat, depression etc.. has all come back!

Is anybody else on the contraceptive pill while taking T3?
I'm taking liothyronine and also taking the pill (
dianette
). I think liothyronine is reducing the pills effectiveness and maybe vice versa. It says it on liothyronine's patient information leaflet. No doctor warned me about this.

Dianette and headaches?
I have been taking
Dianette
for the 2 weeks now and I developed a severe headache with shooting pains last night and its still there today. It actually woke me up through the night. Do you think this is due to the
Dianette
or just a coincidence?

Newbie to the world of endo - can anyone offer any advice whilst I await treatment?
I tried cerazette for a couple of years and have now been taking
dianette
for two months. I am 28 next week and worry about my chances of conceiving.

Are my symptoms endo or something else?
My new GP freaked out when she realised I'd been on
dianette
for 15 years when you are only supposed to be on it for 2. So she changed the pill and the whole thing started again.

Contraceptive Pill for endometriosis - what is the best one that doesn't make you put on weight?
I have been on
Dianette
since November after my Lap and have put on more than half a stone. I am only 5ft 2, so I can't afford to put this weight on..... Any suggestions! I have an appointment with the Nurse this evening to see if she can suggest anything for me as it's really getting me down!

Do different pills have different effects?
I was swapped 2 weeks ago to
Dianette
in an attempt to clear up awful skin I gained from July-December whilst not on the pill. My pain journey started in November.

Does anybody take Dianette for Endometriosis?
The consultant has recommended I start taking
Dianette
. I have never had a good experience with the pill and was on it from 15 to 31 due to Period problems and Acne, however it seems that coming off it (5 years ago) has brought the Endo to a head (I didn't even know it).

What do you find the best pill for endo pain?
Been prescibed
Dianette
- worked well apart felt very sick for a month initially (due to the anti-androgens) then had from occasional pains and lots of blood clots (for a year). Was changed to Marvelon yet have constant period pain (yet no bleeding which is a bonus- been on it 2mths).

Contraceptive Pill & stomach?
I'm due to be switched from
Dianette
to Marvelon by my Gyny Dr as he thinks I've got Endometriosis but wants to switch pills to help reduce my odd bleeds and pelvic pain which I've been getting even though I've been taking it back to back for a year.
