I just started home cycler peritoneal
dialysis
and would like to hear people's experiences with different products. Am considering a
dialysis
belt instead of daily use of tape, which eventually irritates my skin. What features do you look for in a belt?

Peripheral Neuropathy in feet
Did not improve during
dialysis
and now that I recently had a kidney transplant I am hoping there may be some change? Treating it with pregabalin for the pain. Has anybody else had the same and found any improvement?

Results of COVID-19 Antibody Testing
My understanding is that past experience with vaccines is that they are still helpful in Kidney Transplant/
Dialysis
patients even if the antibody reponse is not detectable or very low.

Kidney Transplant process
He is 54 years old and is in end stage and on home
dialysis
since December 8th 2020. I 'm very nervous with the transplant process, we haven't been contacted yet to go for evaluation but any advice and how the process works will be greatly appreciated.

Encouragement and a question
She bluntly told him that it was likely he would be on
dialysis
due to this. Given that he has only been fully awake for 5 weeks and had MRSA infectionIan that time, I think this is unduly pessimistic.

Dialysis and/or Donor's List
But they did say they would take into consideration
dialysis
. So if
dialysis
comes in the near future they would take me earlier. They would rather you not be on
dialysis
before hand. So I'm trying to educate myself the best I can, and I would love to hear others opinions on this.

Post transplant problem
I still have my pd tube from
dialysis
. Twelve months ago I had a transplant. But I still have my tube because I have to drain off at least 3 to4 litres of fluid every 3days. This fluid is known as chyle. Anyone else experiencing this problem and is there a cure ?

Father of son with Iga Nephropathy
He received his first peritoneal
dialysis
treatment last night. He is on transplant list. His wife is accepted to be a donor. Hopefully a paired living donor match soon.

What are the chances that the transplanted kidney will fail?
I’m very excited about getting off of
dialysis
and feeling normal again but, there is always a but, what are the chances that my new kidney will come down with the same diseases that took out my original kidneys? My kidneys failed because of microscopic polyangiitis and C3GN.

The tests were additionally supported by comparison with equilibrium
dialysis
. Correlations between TBG, transthyretin and albumin with FT4 or FT3 were also examined in healthy persons.

COVID Stats...
Remember, when there a huge surge of COVID last year in New York, they have statistics now that 1 out of 4
dialysis
patients that came down with COVID were hospitalized and died. Of transplant recipients 1 in 5 were hospitalized with COVID and died.
