Adrenal Saliva Test - question
I was sharing the test results with someone recently and they suggested that it was unusual that although I had chronically low results on the cortisol, my
DHEA
results were normal. Any ideas why this should be? (I was not using anything consistently over those 4 years ......

Dutch test results
My Dutch test urine test results are here: total estrogen 68.1 (27-62), progesterone 17.1 (6-20), testosterone 8.7 (4-14), 24 hour free cortisol 103 (80-185), total
DHEA
production 3167 (400-3000), metabolized cortisol 6039 (2750-5400). So my estrogen, cortisol and
DHEA
are elevated.

Thyroid/cortisol - any advice/help for self-treating appreciated
I am new to the site and wanted to get my blood/spot results back before posting. I have had all the symptoms of being hypothyroid for most of my adult life. Apart from two tests last year, one was hyperthyroid and then a month later hypothyroid, my tests are always "normal". I have a multinodular

Pain and inflammation around breast bone? And... emergency hydrocortisone injections from GP!
(The saliva test is considered to be more accurate there) This came back with low levels of cortisol and low
dhea
. I was advised to start on hc which I ve sourced privately and doing well on. Very low blood pressure has now picked up, severe dehydration stopped and salt cravings decreased.

Low amh, normal fsh - what should I do?
Read lots about making a Super Egg, so trying to eat healthy, stop drinking alcohol, started taking Ubiqunol and ordered some
DHEA
. Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation?

High cortisol & NDT
So I saw my endo last week and showed him my saliva test results for cortisol and
dhea
. He agreed cortisol was running high and suggested I lower my ndt from 2.5 grains to 2, as it can make the symptoms worse.

adrenal support after weaning off Medrol
It also contains naturally occurring
DHEA
. I took it for a couple of days, and it's the first supplement ever (and I have tried several adrenal glandular and cortex cortex extracts, ACE, over the years) to make a difference in how I feel.

Liver enzymes back up and ferritin dropping. Help
Ferritin is going down and also my
DHEA
when I started PA treatment was 40... then rechecked it was 150, and now it's 50 it's like I'm going backwards how is this possible? I felt great last summer and now I'm feeling ill again with the fevers and extreme exhaustion.

My 19yr old son again! All cortisol saliva test results are HIGH. No support whatsoever from GP!!
I have since had his Cortisol and
DHEA
tested by Genova Diagnostics. I am now trying (and struggling) to understand what to do next!

DHEA
Hi All Just wondering if anyone has taken
DHEA
against their doctors orders!! I've heard good things about it and want to try everything to boost egg quantity and quality yet consultant thinks it's a waste of time. I've heard taking 3x25mg a day is the normal dose people take.

Scan frequency and follicle size concerns??
Having taken
dhea
, ubiquinol coq10 and making loads of lifestyle changes I had hoped to have more than the 9 follies I had last time so when the nurse said "14" my heart leapt to think all my efforts had worked... then promptly sank when I realised she was referring to my follie sizes as there were 3

Adrenal test: Genova or Blue Horizon?
It looks like the BH test is cortisol only whereas the Genova saliva test is cortisol and

Cycle cancelled...
All the
DHEA
and other supplements - Meh! So after the hospital we went for lunch and I had my first 2 glasses of wine in an age and a good cry. I promised dh that I would try to be the girl he met again, the carefree, vivacious free spirit who was so alive.

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Prolactin
Evolution has given hormones promiscuous roles in the body. A particular hormone may be involved in a number of unrelated functions. Prolactin, as one might guess, is a hormone mostly associated with milk production, but it has various roles in the male body too. In addition, the prostate has prolactin
