New Labs - conflicting interpretation
Problem is the Doc that ordered the labs says the Reverse T3 is fine, but another Functional Medicine Doc says it is "pooling" (I don't even know what that means) - probably because of low
DHEA
(19).

Adrenal (Cortisol) and Thyroid issues
As shown from my saliva cortisol test, I have very high cortisol level especially in the morning and depressed
DHEA
, I read somewhere that high cortisol interferes in the transfer from T4 to T3 so can you advise on this issue?

Cortisol hormone and DHEA treatment for lupus
Some of the sources said that this cortisol hormone and
DHEA
usually relates to lupus. Is there any of you who got
DHEA
or cortisol treatment for lupus? And I wonder does it help? I read in book that some people said
dhea
treatment works for their lupus.

should cortisone always be combined with DHEA?
I have been reading a lot about the benefits and side effects of
DHEA
, and it seems excess
DHEA
can have quite serious side effects.

Adrenal insufficiency
I've just got back a blood cortisol and
DHEA
test (the ACTH I had done was botched and arrived at lab unfrozen, so having that repeated next week): Morning cortisol (blood) 161 nmol (166-507) DHEAS. 2.2. umol (0.7-12.5 ) BH gp said this was a little low and suggested further testing.

DHEA and cortisol - is it normal
My cortisol is high in range, but my
DHEA
is low in range. Does anyone know if this is something I should try to improve? I know my t3 was low but i'll have another blood test this week following 6 weeks on t3. I just want to do everything I can to feel like I used to! I'd appreciate any advice☺.
