Provera for 1 week only
Hi Everyone, I started heavily bleeding on
Desogestrel
after 4 months so I asked to try Provera. The Dr would only give me a weeks worth, enough to try and stop the bleeding for my smear test next week.

Multiple periods while on the PO pill
I've been on
Desogestrel
(progesterone only pill) for about 5 weeks now to try and control my pain and bleeding while I wait for my excision surgery.

Double desogestrel pill
Has anyone else been told to take two pills a day? My gynaecologist told me to try it over a month ago to try and reduce bleeding and pain. My pain has reduced but the bleeding hasn't. Has anyone else had this experience?

Advice on treatment
I have been taking
Desogestrel
, 2 pills a day for just over 3 months. I have had constant bleeding but no pain for most of this time. 2 weeks ago the bleeding stopped for a week but now its back. Its not as bad but the night pain is also back.

Desogestrel
I’ve been on the mini pill since January now, I was on Lovima which is
desogestrel
and then switched to desorex (I believe they’re the same pill just different names) I’ve had two heavy periods since being on it, and constant spotting/bleeding.

Mini pill causes acid reflux/gastritis?
I've been on the progesterone only mini pill (
desogestrel
) for 18 months now to help with endometriosis pains before I have surgery (hopefully early next year). 2 months after taking it, I noticed I was getting recurring acid reflux, lots of burping, and a bloated gurgling stomach so went to the GP and

Advice on medication
Hi Everyone, I've been offered medication as an alternative to the mini pill as I've tried Noriday which caused floods, and
Desogestrel
makes me bleed constantly. Norethisterone and Provera have been mentioned but I don't know which one to go on.

Mirena
It finally became too much having 10 day periods with a 4 day break on
desogestrel
. I have tried twice to have the Mirena inserted but the pain and discomfort was too much. The last doctor said it appears the Mirena is not going to be suitable for me.

Carbamazepine and POP pill
I'm not sure what group to write this in but does anyone know about the interactions with carbamazepine and
desogestrel
. I'm taking the pop pill to stop my periods as they are horrendously heavy and painful.

Desogestrel & symptoms
Hi everyone, I was wondering what were people's experiences with
desogestrel
? I am not diagnosed yet as my MRI came back as 'normal' which is very frustrating as I am stuck now.

Worried about new symptoms,, can anyone say if they've had similar experience???
I have an appointment with my gyno end of this month to discuss things but I don't know if I'm overthinking or if it's the
desogestrel
pill I'm on or just random symptoms. Please can anyone suggest if they'd had similar symptoms what the cause may be.

Desogestrel back and leg pain
Hi Everyone, I've started taking
desogestrel
as treatment for endometriomas and fibroids. I've only been taking it for a couple of weeks but I'm getting terrible back and leg pain every morning. It wears off a bit during the day but comes back in the evening.
