My 3 kids are still bed wetting
We’ve tried
desmopressin
and have alarms. We’ve stopped pull-ups for the summer holidays as the girls start secondary school in September and my son moves into y8. We’ve done bladder measuring and ultrasound- nothing wrong. I can’t take much more of this, it’s a nightmare.

It May or May not Be Lupus
Years ago I was diagnosed with diabetes insipidous and I had to take
desmopressin
for a few years. I had two MRIs of my head looking for a tumour or anything to explain it but my result was that it was ideopathic. A few years later, just as mysteriously as it arrived, it went into remission.

Desmopressin has stopped working
My daughter, 13, was put on
desmopressin
melts (120) which seemed to slightly improve her bed wetting. Then she found out after 2 weeks they're not vegetarian and refused to continue. She was then prescribed desmo tablets which come in 200.

Nocturnal eneuresis
she asked to get her pullups back and i thought this was the best idea.HV suggested an eneuresis alarm but my husband isnt keen as he had used one as an infant and it only ever woke the household up and never him and they are quite pricey to have to buy one and have it not work so they prescribed

Help, advice, support
We sought Drs advice years ago and was prescribed
desmopressin
nasal spray for years followed by the syrup followed by the tabs, we then tried an alarm. We have seen the local nursing enuresis team who sadly said there’s nothing more they can do.

8 year old deep sleeper & bed wetter
We were given
desmopressin
which didn't work, we tried a bed wetting alarm which woke me but didn't wake him. We've tried no drinks, drinking more, peeing more, peeing less, movicol (which to be fair seems to have solved any constipation he may have had) but nothing is working.

Nine year old still wet.
I think that over the years we have tried just about everything: alarms, lifting, rewards,
desmopressin
, oxybutynin, drinking more, drinking less, doctors, nurses, clinics etc. etc.. Nothing seems to significantly improve him.

Multiple bladder issues in the family
My eldest (6 1/2) is on
desmopressin
for nighttime wetting, but is not really responding to it. My husband also had bladder issues as a child (weak valve or something...). To me, there seems to be a link.

No oxybyutinin in Gloucestershire????
So gave her
desmopressin
? For daytime wetting????? It's not for that is it? It's for nighttime? We said we need a urologist referral ( it's been 26 months now that we've tried to get one!!) and they wouldn't refer her.

From urodynamics, it is proventhat he has overactive bladder and poor voiding, however medication offered such has
desmopressin
, solifenicin, betmega, oxybutynin have not helped his symptoms. He has had botox twice and PTNS treatment, but with no success.

12 year old son - bed wetting HELP!
We've tried everything out there - lifting & waking (he's too old to be lifted now), alarm clocks, bed and pant alarms, nappy type pants, we let him just wet to see if he wakes up himself, then we've tried all the medication available -
Desmopressin
, Oxybutin and Toltrodene (excuse the spelling).

Oxybutynin & Dementia
Desmopressin
we have already tried with little success. I have read about Tolterdine tartrate which I understand is not licensed for children but some specialists have prescribed it. I know of one lady on here who's daughter is taking it but is there anyone else?

Help needed
Last October after some begging my GP put him on
desmopressin
which initially worked for a couple of weeks, then we went back to bed wetting. GP then doubled the dose, again saw an initial improvement but went back to bed wetting. This is when I then pressed for a referral.
