Denocumab/Xgeva Jaw/Bone issues.
I have been reading up, (as I always like to do when I’m at all worried, as I feel it is better to know than not to know), about the problems that Xgeva/
Denosumab
can cause with bones and in particular, jaw bones. Do any of you have knowledge or a scientific/medical interest in this issue?

Results of DEXA scan in anticipation of December 12 MO visit. Impression: Bone Density within normal limits. Any reason to add Xgeva?
I am untrained and would like to hear if anyone sees a reason to add a dose of
Denosumab
. I have previously reported that my MO has been advocating for adding Xgeva to my treatment. The forum helped me process the wisdom of testing for indications it had value for me.

Oncologist visit - following cold
I also had
Denosumab
injection. As I had slight progression in my last scan in the left axillary Lymphadenopathy, it was suggested I have another scan in a few weeks just to dbl check which is fair enough. Aside from the remains of this cold, I feel great and I’m not in any pain.

Oncologist visit following cold
Got my
Denosumab
injection too. As my last CT scan showed very slight progression in the left axillary lymphadenopathy he suggested I have another scan in a couple of weeks just to check on things which I think is fair enough.

Terrible cold - can’t shake it off...
I’m suffering my first cold since being treated for MBC and on treatment - palbociclib, letrozole, adcal &
Denosumab
injection. I had this terrible cold for a week now and I’m not feeling much better. I have a constant headache and feel so weak.

CT Scan results
I will remain on the same meds, palbociclib, letrozole and
Denosumab
for now and have another scan in 3 months. My CA15-3 dropped a little to 84. I was upset at first, but decided I just need to get on with living life to the full. Thankfully I’m not in any pain. Jo xx

Alendronate Shows Promise as Maintenance Therapy for Osteoporosis

Can Prolia trigger vasculitis
I'm very suspicious that this relapse could have been caused by a Prolia injection - see this link https://ancavasculitisnews.com/2019/03/18/
denosumab
-may-cause-anca-aav-case-report/ I would be interested if someone has also heard of this possibility.

Turmeric
I am taking Letrezole, I have a 4 weekly injection of
Denosumab
and on Monday will start the Ibrance. I am wondering whether those on this medication still believe in taking Turmeric or dont feel that they should?

Letrozole and Ibrance is it working?
My mum was diagnosed in February with Mets to her spine in 4 places one pressing against her spinal cord which gave her shooting pains in her leg, she was sent for emergency radiotherapy and all has been well for the past 3 months she has been on Ibrance with letrozole, and
denosumab
injections but yesterday

Osteoporosis and HRT for the over 60s
Twice in the last week I have had doctors tell me that
denosumab
(Prolia) is the answer and I’ve had to point out that the Rheumatologist specifically told me that I was ‘too young’ to be put on that due to my life expectancy (based on my mother living to 98) and the fact that
denosumab
can only be prescribed

Advice needed please.
We are scheduled to see Dr Nick Plowman on Harley Street (He was strongly recommended by Dr Khoo at the Royal Marsden) My Father has never had radiation, chemo, xandti, enzalutamide,
denosumab
etc. What other treatments are viable at this stage?
