total knee replacement triggering RLS
I had a left knee replacement surgery April 10th this year. My right knee is also “bone on bone” from osteoarthritis and I’m dreading getting a second one as its been a rough recovery, and the RLS return has me worried too. 4 months out I’m getting stronger week by week although I’m definitely not

Alimta - Fevers
My mum has been fighting this disease since 2016. At diagnosis she was high grade OC stage 3c. After initial surgery and chemo she was in remission for 5 years but unfortunately the beast returned in 2021 and since then she has been under constant treatment. Her last scan a few months back showed

Hi, I am three months post op after a mechanical heart value replacement (49 years old) and have had my first ever bit of chest pain today, like tightness where the heart is. I am at rehab tomorrow so will talk to them about what I should do if anything (also seeing a specialist in a couple of weeks

Erect Penis appears shorter after circumcision.
6 weeks after the ZSR circumcision, the ring is gone. But there is swelling, only between the ring area and the glans. Flaccid penis length is the same. But when I get an erection now the erect penis appeared shorter than it was before the surgery. When I measured it, to my horror the erect penis is

New, A Bit Scared, Would Appreciate Advice.
For background I've got Ehlers Danlos, a genetic connective tissue disorder which causes stretchy joints, skin, dislocations and a whole host of other fun things. Also underactive thyroid and B12 deficiency/ pernicious anemia and asthma. In spite of my issues I've always loved exercise, keeping fit

Upcoming Foot Surgery
I'm having outpatient foot surgery in June. What should I be thinking about with regard to my RLS? I have read that I should ask for Zofran for anitinausea. Is that correct? Anything else I should be be talking to my doctor about? Thank you!

Knee Replacement Yesterday
Thanks to those of you who wished me well yesterday. I had full knee replacement surgery yesterday afternoon. On the advice of the surgical team I had my normal dose of Prednisolone in the morning. Prostate Cancer Diet and Re-purposed Meds
I was just reading a post about Jane Mcclelland's protocol regarding her book, "How to starve cancer." She also added a second portion on a book re-released, with a Ferroptosis (death by iron) protocol. I thought the criticism to be amazing. Cancer is a baffling mystery, top scientist and great minds

I was booked to have cataract surgery this coming Monday and the hospital contacted the surgeon and said because of APS I have to have single use instruments because the eye tissue is delicate?? My surgeon is a skilled man and I have complete faith in him but he said in all his years of doing this surgery

Dry eye following Trabeculectomy
Hello I had a right trabeculectomy nearly 4 months ago & all was well until about a week ago. I have used regular lubricating drops as I have had the same surgery in my left eye that was complicated by uveitis. I have tried a variety of lubricating drops & eventually Theoloz gel was recommended & worked
