Additionally, his disease type would also respond very well to

Job.
I have applied for my enhanced
DBS
even though I already have one. I go to register on Wednesday and will probably start work after Christmas now. I am feeling very well in myself. I have been reading my books on Narcissistic mothers and Complex PTSD.

NY Times Report: 9 PwP Lost Ability to Swim After DBS
This is a blow for those of us looking at
DBS
further down the road as a possible last-resort therapy, but I guess it will be a matter of weighing up the pros and cons when we have to confront the choice to go ahead or not. Has anyone in this community who’s had
DBS
encountered the same issue?

Has anyone tried Nicotine to reduce Dyskinesia?
She ended up doing
DBS
and then inventing her own levadopa pump with her feeding tube. She went on to college and became a chemist and is now giving talks about how she manages her PD. One thing she does is vape nicotine whenever she gets dyskinesia.

Does DBS control non motor problems, like sleep?
Three years in, my neurologist suggested
DBS
so I spoke to a neurosurgeon who has done many of these procedures. He said
DBS
works on “motor symptoms only.” Since medicine works for me, I did not go ahead.
