Rectal Burning, Rectal Spasms, Bladder Spasms, Burning Labia, numbness, sacral pain, and yes the dreaded Pudendal Pain
I have had it all. A miserable two years. Finally after the third Pudendal Nerve Block I have some real relief. I didn't want to make a post too soon as maybe I was dreaming. I can have a normal bowel movement without feeling like the door is closed. I am sure many of you understand that feeling. I still

Please advise: can I still have endometriosis after hysterectomy + oophorectomy 28 years ago?
34 years ago after a laparoscopy I was diagnosed with endometriosis after presenting with interstitial
cystitis
, gut, general pelvic + back pain (which sometimes reached my neck and head). I'd become unable to stand or walk slowly for more than a few minutes on some days.

UroLift anybody?
Of course it eventually blocked my urethra, plus
cystitis
, and my uro at the time hadn't a clue. Now to fix it, they want to do a urolift. I watched a few videos of the procedure, and also TURP, and other procedures. Most are not pleasant. The urolift looks promising. Tell me what you think, Joe

A certain antibiotic possibly contraindicated for those with b12d--nerve damage risk
My doctor prescribed nitrofurantoin for a bladder infection. One serious side effect listed is perpheral neuropathy and nerve damage in arms and legs. I checked with the pharmacist who confirmed that the drug literature specifically said this nerve damage was a risk for people with b12 deficiency who

Pain in the Penis and Perineum
Occasionally, I suffer
cystitis
-like symptoms - it burns, stings and hurts when urinating. After urinating, it feels like fireworks are going off in the urethra and perineum - burning, tingling and spasms. But momentarily, there is a sense of relief; a release of pressure.

Levator ani
Hey Karen again. Had to have a defacography a year ago has my stool was getting stuck. Sorry to be gross but ended up manually evacuating which exacerbates the levator. It's a vicious cycle. Hoping the doctor will do the Botox!!!!

I felt no benefit for the excision surgery and my gynae consultant found I had interstitial
cystitis
a bladder condition. As I was feeling no better I had a mri which showed I had adenomyosis in both sides of my uterus.

Might be getting somewhere eventually
I do get
cystitis
"twinges" if I get dehydrated or drink fresh orange juice, even diluted 50/50 or more with water, which is the only way I drink fruit juice.

Ferritin levels
This put all my hormone levels into a spin and I felt truly truly hideous, on top of that I had my first ever attack of
cystitis
( I am 53) which seems to have possibly left me with a persistent biofilm infection/ interstitial
cystitis
. I have really bad pelvic pain.

Fed up
I have Endo, adenomyosis and interstitial
cystitis
. I had Endo removed by a top gynae consultant in March 2015 no improvement of symptoms so had a presacral neurectomy which is cutting of the nerves to uterus 7 weeks ago to hopefully help my pain. No endo had grown back which is good news.

Post hysterectomy poor immune system
Since a hysterectomy nearly a year ago my immune system is in a bad state - near constant flu / cold symptons. I appreciate endo is an immune compromising condition hence I'd hoped having excision and hysto for adenomyosis that my immune system might be improved. But no it's much worse - I've tried diet
