I am currently on buspar and
cymbalta
, but being on the
cymbalta
makes me scared for my babies health. I do not have a partner to rely on as he doesnt want to be in our lives.

Cymbalta & Lexapro
Has anyone taken
cymbalta
and lexapro and had the side effect of getting hot really easily and sweating more than you used to when you weren’t taking the medication? Are there any other antidepressants that don’t have that side effect?

Anyone else have trouble trusting improvement?
I’m now several weeks into a therapeutic dose of
Cymbalta
and I feel more able to control my negative thoughts most days. This is a small improvement, but an important one, but I don’t want to trust it too much yet. But then I think I should celebrate any small victory (with some carbs! Jk.

I want to believe I’m getting better
Some people around me are telling me I seem to be improving on
Cymbalta
, but I don really see/feel it. Has anyone had the experience of improving before you saw it in yourself? I have little kids and so badly want to believe I’ll be my old (non-depressed) self soon.

I gave a response to a community member and decided to share with all.
I understand
Cymbalta
is expensive so I’m on the generic called Duloxetine that my insurance covers at a reasonable cost. I’m not saying this is good for everyone, I’m just sharing my story.

New here and apprehensive about meds
I didn’t really find anyone through my insurance who seemed like they were specifically qualified for adult ADHD but did end up going to a psych NP who, after 30 minute conversation, agreed that ADHD could be a component of my anxiety and prescribed 20mg daily Vyvanse (in addition to
Cymbalta

More than just tablets
I have eased myself off
Cymbalta
(Duloxetine) ( recently for 2nd time as it made me sick) also in the past Tramadol, Amitryltaline and God only knows what else. Now I am taking 8/500 Co-codamol occasionally, and ibuprofen 400mg with 2 paracetamol 500mg together.

Is Zoloft a good choice for treating depression/anxiety?
I know zoloft is an SSRI, so I am wondering if I should as her Dr if she thinks an SNRI like
cymbalta
is better. Any thoughts or experience on this?

Suggestions, Opinions and Help
I was put on a medicine regimen of several medications - Tramadol (100mg/ day),
Cymbalta
(30mg/day) and Seroquel for sleeping (25mg/day). In the past several years all of my medications have been doubled and I was really seeing great results.

pain update and question
Neurologist put me on a low dose
Cymbalta
[duloxetine] for fibro pain and depression. Is anyone taking
Cymbalta
or have you ever tried it? Did/does it help? Her recommendation to the pain clinic is to put me on a pain patch. Peace✌& Love💕❤, Sharon

Hey guys! Update on how I have been 🙂
I started
cymbalta
in March of this year. It seriously saved my quality of life! I am no longer on klonopin... I was taking it every day twice a day for like 3 years. I don’t take it... nor do I need it because I don’t have panic attacks etc.

MS and mental illness
I went to a psychiatrist a few weeks ago, who started me on
Cymbalta
and it has made a world of difference. I just wanted to encourage anyone else with MS and mental illness to persevere in finding the right solution. It is hard in the US to access the right treatment.

MS and mental health counseling.
I wrote about
Cymbalta
helping with mental health. But the other part of that is getting counseling. My new counselor does not get MS. She is using DBT. Anyone else have experience with that. It is a system of skills related to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that helps you change your thinking.

Cymbalta anyone?
My dentist suggested
Cymbalta
. Anyone have experience with it? I hadn’t been to the dentist in years but a crown came out and I had to go. I told him I’d been on MTX but off for a couple of months as it made me very ill.

Xtandi/ UTI with Foley/ low hemoglobin
He’s on
cymbalta
(sp?) but pretty down about being so weak. His labs every month look good for almost undetectable PSA. His last bone scan looked like the growth is holding still. His CT scan showed a small mass? By his stomach and pancreas? Not in a place that could be biopsy easily.
