Inspiration and hope.
Then in September last year I had a
Cryoablation
and fast forward to today and I feel great. I spent this morning riding around Wales on my motorbike and I feel blessed and thankful for having a second chance.

Migraines
Afternoon, i am 9 weeks post
cryoablation
and in the week following the procedure I had 4 or 5 migraines with aura, I wasn't surprised as I'd read the fact sheet, and then they stopped after about a week. But I have recently been having side effects from omeprazole and diltiazem.

Practical advise for ablation day ....
I am due to have
cryoablation
on Monday and am thinking about what to take with me and what to wear (female) on the day. I like my snuggly soft leggings but am wondering if they are not such a good idea bearing in mind the groin area may be sore/tender.

Two days after Cryoablation under General Anaesthetic
Cryoablation
carried out under GA at Papworth on Thursday afternoon. I was kept in overnight and discharged yesterday morning. So far, so good. Worst part for me was weirdly being wide awake from coming to in the recovery room at 17:00 until I went to bed at home after discharge 20 hours later.

Pre -ablation questions
After a year of trying to ignore the problem, I finally went ahead and booked
cryoablation
for the beginning of July. I am going to have it done privately at St Barts hospital in London.

Cryoablation 5 months on!
Hello all, I had the procedure mid October last year, and the first two and a half months were not good, fatigue and ectopics most days, heart rate around 80 bpm. Then miraculously at the beginning of January, my heart started to behave, and the fatigue lifted somewhat, so for the next two months I was

2nd Ablation recommendation
Will the AFib I’m getting now get worse or stay the same since hopefully the
Cryoablation
did successfully freeze most trigger points?

Cryoablation 6 months on.
Hi all, just a quick update on my
Cryoablation
which was performed on September 7th 2018 at Liverpool heart and chest hospital. The first couple of months after were a bit of a rocky road but I noticed a significant step in the right direction on month 4.

One week post ablation
Well it’s one week since my
cryoablation
at the Spire Hospital in Bristol. Felt great for 24 hours post op apart from a bit of soreness but had AF 4 times now in as many days. Never had it as much as this pre op so starting to annoy me a bit.

Cryoablation booked for next week
Well after enduring a few years of the AF journey I have made the plunge to have the
cryoablation
procedure to try and stop AF in its tracks.

Symptoms for Vagal/ Mixed Paroxysmal Afib
I had a
cryoablation
late in 2016 in US. It was not successful because my afib returned. Right now, I have 2-3 afib events in one week. I had a zio patch for monitoring my afib for two weeks and I use also Kardia.

Post ablation update.
Had my
cryoablation
on Wednesday, all went well. EP said the procedure was flawless, can't say enough about the quality of my EP and care team. Now just taking it easy and sleeping a lot lol. Few runs of ectopics here and there but nothing compared to some of the runs I got pre ablation.

AFIB, my testimony
Here I am today, 3 months and 1 week later, it is still hard to accept that my Resting Heart is between 74-95 (was 55-70 before
cryoablation
) but I think everything is normal and it is a part of the healing process (at least I hope).

5 months post Cryoablation
I had a
Cryoablation
on 7th September 2018 for lone paroxysmal AF, this was my first procedure after being on meds for 5 years which started to fail. The first couple of months after the ablation were up and down, I had a lot of palpatations and ectopics rather than AF.

Regrowth of Pathway AVRNT Cryoablation
My question is have many people on this forum had the
cryoablation
done and it has reversed? She is doing great now off all beta blockers and can finally relax without the fear of SVT episodes which were happening monthly to her even on medication.

First PAF after cryoablation happening now
Hi all I'm so disappointed. I woke 45 minutes ago with AF; the first real recurrence after my cryoblation nine months ago. Last night I took the second dose of Tramadol, newly prescribed for my hip and back pain; I'm guessing that's the reason for the AF breakthrough. I've taken another 2.5mg Bisoprolol

Day 5 post Ablation
It was a
cryoablation
in the end. Since then I'm resting lots I am having migraine with arua each day but only 1 now. My esophagus is very sore but easing each day too. The groin bruise is so far about the size of a 50p and the incision on my wrist has healed completely with no bruising.
