Muscle spasticity and FND
I've sought private
counselling
to try and process what's going on and I'm also seeing a chiropractor which seems to be helping with my posture and overall energy levels. I'm also working on any positive health habits I can. I'm ok overall. I'm managing. I have two under fives so they keep me busy.

PTSD?
Hello! I am new to this board but not new to HealthUnlocked. During one of my counseling sessions, I brought up my childhood and punishment. Before my parents divorced, my so-called father often punished my brother and me by having us kneel on textured ceramic-like linoleum (1970s-80s). He would put

Considering IVF with sperm donor as partner doesn't want children
He did have
counselling
and feels fairly healthy about his "daddy issues", but I do wonder if in time he might change his mind. 24 is so young to consider children, especially if you've always thought you'd never have them. What a curve ball!

Jealousy
I am a jealous person. I’m dating a new guy and my relationship prior to that he was abusive. However both of us were crazy jealous. The guy I’m dating now isn’t at all and honestly it bothers me some cuz I think a little jealousy shows something about how they feel about the other person. I’m not talking

Finding it hard to cope with my friends traumatic brain injury moods.
He's spoken to his doctor who firstly increased his anti-depressant dosage slightly and anothe doctor who put him in contact with a
counselling
place. They contacted my friend months ago, took his details down then said they have a long waiting list and haven't been in contact since.

Hi...new here, going through a rough patch
Not sure how I stumbled on this site but I’ve been reading for a little while and feel the warmth and encouragement from others who know what this is like. I’ve suffered from depression and anxiety most of my life (I’m 60) and have been on all kinds of antidepressants including Celexa for the last 20

Depression/Anxiety Medication
I’m on a waiting list for NHS
counselling
, but due to a complex MH history I expect that I will be declined. But probably won’t know for several weeks. I don’t really know what to do, just feel like I’m only just keeping my head above water.

Marriage
I wasn't sure where to post this but this seems fitting I guess. I need to get things out but I worry about being judged. Maybe because I judge myself the most. More than anyone could ever judge me. I beat myself up a lot. Here's my (long) story... I have everything (most) everyone wants in life and

16wks pregnant - daddy left and isolating alone.
I have contacted Iapt for

but they now want me to reregister after I missed my appointment, meaning it will take another month before I speak to someone. What I’m asking is advice...

Should I stay or should I go?
By the way, he is in
counselling
but seems to have taken the approach of “this is who I am, deal with it”. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Counseling and Therapy
Hello. My name is Keith Wilson. I have had over five years of counseling and at least a year of individual therapy. I have been diagnosed with over fifteen different mental health diagnosis' but the doctors still do not quite know which one really fits my situation. Recently, I received a second opinion

CBD OILS FOR ANXIETY
Hello everyone, I am new to the group, and excited to join. I hope I can help others, just as you all can help me. I originally joined the group because I needed a group to do my school project on. However, I also suffer from untreated anxiety and depression. So, does my 5 year old son. I thought this

What do you do to get yourself back up?
I have been struggling with depression for almost 20 years now. I have my ups and downs, but I am usually able to pull myself up after being down. I have been stuck in a "down" for months now and have tried so many things to bring myself back up, but they are not working. I just feel alone and sad most
