Fellow suffers. Here is my history. Everything that has happened with treatment.
Dear my fellow suffering, I thought it be best to write a little narrative of how and when my symptoms first began. For years I suffered from yeast infections. In the year 2000-2001 I fell from a very high surface onto my coccyx bone, that same week I also got a very bad urinary track infection

On New Year's Eve I bought myself a walking stick. My oh 'so full of myself' achievement of 2mg Pred per day in mid December had flared into agonizing carpel tunnel syndrome and bursitis in my left knee. It was then that I met you wonderful fellow sufferers and your forum, so armed with developing self

My Story
I have Osteoarthritis of the back and neck which has been going on since December 2016. During this time I have been taking Tramadol as it’s the only painkiller that works. However I am very conscious that tramadol is not a good thing to be taking long term. I have private medical care through my employer

For the moment, Prednisone free!
The latest update on my Mom. She is a week of being Prednisone Free. THAT was one very long taper ( 1 year, 8 months ) which was very close to her Doctors thoughts that it would be about 2 years. Mom continues to receive the Actemra infusions every month, and at this point we are all unsure as to when

Normal bloods, Seen Shoulder specialist ?? +/- Frozen shoulder but for trial of oral steroids
Hi All I hope I am posting this correctly so that all of you who helped me with my initial Qs will see this. I have seen a shoulder specialist today as the Rheumy referred me to him to rule out a mechanical injury. He informed me that it could be frozen shoulder but less likely as my pain and symptoms

How common are 'ulcers that are not exactly ulcers'?
I apologize for the weird headline. Reason I am asking is: I am in a situation opposite from a lot of people here. I am diagnosed with Behcets, but I am sceptic if what I am really experiencing at my genital areas are in fact (at least sometimes) caused by Herpes. It seems as if I have all symptoms

SI Joint Pain
Does anyone else have or are suffering from SI joint pain? I’ve been in terrible pain for the last 10 months. The pain is prominent in a small area in the SI joint in my buttocks. When it’s really bad, it radiates down my leg and makes my leg numb. For 10 years, I was using a cane, and was walking very

Steroid dependency?
I have Ankylosing Spondylitis, but was initially wrongly diagnosed as Polymyalgia for 5yr. I was put on steroids Dec 2012, and every time I try to get below 4mgs I get symptoms of steroids struggling. He feels I may be steroid dependant, but insists we can’t take bloods to check as still on steroids.

Autogirl
Just read an old post by Autogirl about her condition(s): Hashimoto, Coeliac .... she wrote exactly the symptoms that I have been having for the last 3-5 years. I realise that if I had not taken into hand my own health I would weigh 20 kgs more, be permanently tired, dry eyes, insomniac, arthritic, depressed

Cortisone treatment, insomnia and Cortisol
I recently had treatment for bronchitis including 5 days of Cortisone. My usual problems of swollen fingers disappeared with the treatment, which is normal considering my poly-arthritis in my fingers. However the other major problem that I have had for years -insomnia- Strange as it may seem disappeared

Allergic reaction/cortisone?
Hello, today when I was eating a kiwi fruit I suddenly noticed a burning feeling in my mouth, my skin began to itch and flush and I had some difficulty breathing. Could I be allergic to kiwi fruit? I've never had such a reaction before and have no known other allergies. Or could it be that the fruit
