I had 3 ablations at MUSC to address PVC’s and ARVC, got an ICD after that, then developed AFib followed by an atrial ablation and finally a cardioversion to fix atrial flutter a month after the shocker. I’ve felt fine through all of this - asymptomatic all along. I’m 70 and was a runner for 22 years

Can you have multiple heart 'problem' types at the same time and what's the significance?
So far on my list over the last few years, I've had Atrial Fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, Sinus Bradycardia, Premature Atrial Contractions, (bigeminy, trigeminy) and Premature Ventricular Contraction, Right Bundle Branch Block and now it looks like potentially Atrioventricular nodal reentry

help with advice at GP
good morning, I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16 years old (now 25), I am just wondering whether anyone else has had problems with their GP prescribing them absolutely anything?? The only thing I’ve ever been offered is the contraceptive pill despite years of asking (begging) for anything else to

Does T3 always suppress TSH?
So I have been on T3 for 3 weeks and my TSH plummeted from 1.79 to 0.04 (0.4 - 4). The FT4 stayed pretty well the same (at about 78% within the interval) and the FT3 did really not move significantly (to my thinking anyway). It moved from 3.7 to 4.1 (3.5 - 5.9). Obviously there is concern about the low

Low heart rate on my Apple Watch after exercise
I get a low heart rate reading after exercise. This lasts for approximately 2 hours. I have been diagnosed with PVC and taking 50 mg of flecainide twice daily. Are there any suggestions .

More problems with PVCs.
It’s now nearly a month since I had a quadruple bypass. For over a week I’ve had lots of PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) as referred to in an earlier post, but today they have gone into overdrive. I’ve had them since about 0900 this morning and it’s now just past midnight. The frequency varies

Teen endometriosis
Hello, I have just joined the group. My daughter is 15 and since the beginning of her periods 2 years ago, she has been suffering from very bad abdominal pain and erratic periods. Her pain is so bad that I’ve taken her to A&E on several occasions. It seems worse as the day progresses and also when sat

loads of pvcs
had my first cardio version last Wednesday after being in AF for 3 months. I flipped back into NSR after the first shock which is great but since then I have been dealing with 1000s of pvcs. 4-8 per mins. It is draining! I knew they say that everyone gets them although not this many I guess. I feel

Looking for guidance
Hi everyone, Sorry if this is a super long post. To give some back ground, I started having very painful periods in 2015 when I came off the contraceptive pill at 20 years old. I came off because I have a breast cancer risk on both sides of my family and I felt that taking the pill was unnecessarily

Vaccine shortened menstrual cycle
Hi all! So I’m not posting this to spark a debate about vaccines. Each to their own. I was just simply curious if anyone else has notice a DRASTIC change in their periods after receiving the Covid Vaccinations. I got 2 doses of the Pfizer (no booster) and let me tell you my periods have went from

On going investigation.
Hi , I'm going to try to keep this short as possible. I was diagnosed with IBS I'm 2006 and in 2015 my health became worse as I had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in emergency surgery. I needed a blood transfusion as my tube ruptured. A couple of days later I was diagnosed with multiple PEs

Anxious about getting a diagnosis
Hi, For the past 2 years I have been back and forth to my GP with pelvic pain (particularly on period), recurrent UTI pain (but urine always clear), irregular periods (3 or 4 a month) and painful sex. They always put it down to ruptured ovarian cysts, thrush or normal period pain and I had very few

Stage 4 endometriosis - new diagnosis
Hello Ladies 💛 For context, I’m 28 years old, never had kids, been suffering with endometriosis-like symptoms since I was in my teens, with the symptoms deteriorating in the last 3 years or so. It's been 4 years since I have had severe anxiety but this past week was rough. How much does going off birth control affect anxiety?
It's been 4 years since I have had severe anxiety but this past week was rough. I had anxiety for about 5 days where I was uncomfortable going out by myself. on day 5 and 6 I went out with my husband and my family and managed. On day 7 I didn't feel like I had anxiety until it was getting time for me
