I am so upset and don’t know where to go from here…
I went to the doctors with 3 months of pain while going for a pee, I have been on two antibiotics and none have worked. So, I made an appointment with the doctor to speak about what to do to help with the pain and find out why it was happening, or so I thought. I went in and her answer was go on the

Had an appointment with a lovely consultant yesterday after a MRI in Jan. Pain subsided as it has a habit of doing! Main issue is with bowels. So when asked about pain I said that was my main concern, I'm taking the minipill daily and that suppresses the pelvic pain but annoyed with myself as didn't

Sleep issues- Is it the medication?
Hello! Every night at 7pm I give my daughter 2MG of melatonin and at 8PM she is having 0.05MG of clonidine (I am crushing it up- She can't swallow the pill even though it's cut in half) the doctor says it has nothing to do with how it is metabolizing since the medication is not extended release. She

hi Back story, I never had any issues with my periods was on the pill and always had a bleed during the 7 day break. Then around 5 years ago my periods became heavy and unpredictable. Changed pills but that didn’t work so was referred to a gynaecologist and scans revealed I had a few fibroids. I had

Endometriosis for 3rd time?
I have the implant for
contraception
and she has put me on Cerazette for pain management. Previously had 2 Laps, the first (2015) was quite horrific and they had to 'unstick' my left ovary and zap away lots of adhesions. Second time (2018) just got a letter quoting 'adhesions' and no follow up.

Questioning my need for flecainide or amiodarone
Hi. I know I have a history of AFib--I get an attack
MAYBE 3-4 times/year and it lasts for 15 minutes or so.
I had not seen any provider for it because of stupidity. BUT, when I was in hospital for an infection last November 2022, I just happened to have an AFIB episode while I was hooked up

Diagnosed Today
Today I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I have been trying to conceive for just under a year with no luck.Prior to this I was on the pill for 15 years from the age of 15 to 30. My biggest regret so far to date! I had a huge outbreak of server cystic acne on my face at 25 and didn't realise but I do now

Feeling a little lost and where to go next
So my wonderful little sister (33) offered to be our donor at Christmas which is utterly wonderful, the offer however caught me off guard as I'd thought it was something she decided against. She was due to have her contraceptive jab later that day and I naively told her to carry on as normal and have

Progesterone pill for Endometriosis
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis via process of elimination and an MRI scan. I have always had awfully painful, heavy periods but in January, the pain became consistently excruciating, even when I wasn’t on my period. Long story short, I was put on the progesterone only pill

Norethisterone prior to starting stimulation meds
Hi all, The protocol has changed at my clinic. It wasn't discussed at my consultation but at my nurse appointment I was told everyone has to take norethisterone from cycle day 18 for 15 - 20 days (15 in my case), take a 5 day break then start stimulation meds. I suspect that my period will arrive soon

Adenoma query
Hi, I have had further consultation and one of the three liver tumours is an adenoma. They've told me that there is a risk of malignancy but it's small, however I should not take hormonal contraceptives as it causes an increase in risk. I am due to have another MRI to check the tumours next month. Something

ORGOVYX FOR 4-6 months ,what is the recovery time of testosterone after finishing?
Gleason 4 +3 , IMRT 20 tx , 68 , psma -no mets. I am on orgovyx for 4 months . At the end of 4months treatment what is the time frame for return of testosterone? I have heard that the pill form of orgovyx has a quicker return of testosterone than the lupron and other shots? How many months after

Sharp pain
Hi, for a little while now I've been getting these sharp sudden stabbing pains, on my right side. To me it feels like ovary pain and it makes me feel sick, my hip feels more pain on that side too. When I had my surgery last year they said my ovaries were totally clear. It can't really be ovulation I

Spotting before period & acne
I've been battling with spotting before my period for about 4 years now. Also with associated chronic acne that doesn't go away (been that way for about 2 years now). I'm out of ideas. Got every possible test and ultrasound on the NHS. I don't want to go on the pill. I'm working with a private holistic

advice again please
sorry for yet another post. I have recently reduced my thyroxine from 75 to 50 due to suspected over medication since having my child 20months ago and no longer being in the pill. Even though my bloods have been in range (TSH 0 or 1). I lowered it from 100 last year and my severe anxiety got better

Hayfever & migraine
Hi everyone, I was just wondering does anyone experience hayfever and is it ok to treat it whilst doing IVF? I’m currently on my last few days of birth control and I’ll be starting medications for DE transfer in May. I had my down reg injection yesterday too. I’ve an almighty migraine and wondering
