Confused after appointment with EP
I had an episode on April 15th where my heart went into a fluttering type feeling that took my breath away and lasted for 10 seconds. It felt exactly the way my PVCS feel but instead of a quick flutter and done, it just kept going and scared the crap out of me. I do have a loop recorder and so I pushed

New to Birth Control (Need some reassurance please) Also is it okay to take one pack of birth control and restart again after a month?)
Hi I'm new here :), so hi everybody! My question is just a few days ago I was prescribed the Microgen 30 birth control pills. I've been hesitant to take them yet as I've just been so anxious about side affects even though two doctors have already explained that I am young and healthy so am not at risk

Hello all, I’m new here and just after some advice because this world of endo feels a little overwhelming atm. A little about me - I’m 27yo and have always suffered with v heavy painful periods and accepted it as ‘normal’. Was on mefenamic acid in my early teens, then got by on OTC painkillers. Tricycled

Would I be pregnant?
Okay so I’ve been on the progestogen-only pill.. me and my boyfriend, we did the “d” and he cummed in me but had told me. I’ve kept ontop of the pill since it’s an everyday pill.. I barely bleed on this pill but I’ve randomly just started bleeding. I only really bleed if I miss a pill but I’ve kept

Manage pain
Hi everyone! I’m currently being investigated for endometriosis. I’ve had severe pain everywhere for a few years now. I’m 24 this year and it all started at 17. After waiting 9 weeks I had a trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasound. It showed I have a 2.5cm cyst on my right ovary and a small amount

The starts of it all
So I am currently trying to do my own research as the Dr told me to do. I had 2 years of thrush followed by a water infection followed by 2 more “water infections” which they just assumed was water infection as it was the same symptoms as my 1st one. My symptoms started off as sharp stabbing pains

Literally loosing my mind, need to connect with others to feel slightly normal..
I’m not longer on
contraception
but I’m on progesterone to balance my hormones, as I produce too much testosterone and oestrogen.

Contraception and Lupus
Hi. Bit of a personal and private post in asking others opinions, but if you don't ask, you won't know. Just wondered if anyone who has SLE has had 'insertion contraceptives' as opposed to the pill and: Are they a good thing? How does it effect your Lupus or you etc..? If so, any advice you would give

After really struggling and finally having my diagnostic lap in December I really thought I would get the answers I wanted. They found and removed adhesions on my right side and found that my bowel is stuck to my POD which she wouldnt touch. I was then told I was being referred to Gastro for this as

Help with period, hormones & eye problems (Meibomian gland disorder)
In January 2020 I came off the contraceptive pill, since I have been having awful (so awful I need to take time off work the pain is severe) periods but also started to have 'styes'. I saw a doctor who put me on a long course of antibiotics immediately once I'd stopped they were back. I then started

Kidney pain / frequent urination in endo?
Hi! I'm new to this forum so hope I'm asking in the right place... I haven't been diagnosed with endometriosis yet as I am still waiting to be seen at the hospital but it is expected. I'm so frustrated with the lack of support by my GP but it sounds like this is quite common amongst endo patients!

Mini-Pill working wonders!
I came off my contraceptive implant to see how my period was doing and it turned out to be irregular and very very very painful as well as a surprising symptom of rectal bleeding at the same time. To help with the pain, I was recommended the mini-pill and I have now been on it about three months and

HELP!!! (Slightly long post but advice needed!)
I have been battling extreme period pain for as long as I have had a period, so 13 years now (I am 24 now and started my periods at 11), I have had every
contraception
you can think of, ultrasounds and even a diagnostic lap and every test the doctors have done has come back with nothing is wrong.
