Irregular periods, on POP contraceptive?
I'm not on it for
contraception
, I'm on it for painful periods, heavy bleeding, cramping etc (possible endometriosis) and a few years ago I was put on a POP pill and have been really happy on it since.

Can I get pregnant?
So, I'm seeing someone and I'm going to go back on the pill. I suffer from insomnia. Can birth control counteract with sleeping medicine?

Managing endo pain
Contraception
isn't an option at the moment, I'm on the waiting list for ivf. I had a lap last year which diagnosed stage 4 endo with a frozen pelvis but unfortunately they didn't remove anything as my bowel was involved - very annoying that they done nothing at all... Thanks

Self diagnosis - period issues since teenager
Hello! I've made this account cause I'm really struggling with periods and I have since I was a young teen (my first period at 9). I've always suffered with my periods being heavy and the cramp is unbearable to the point of not being able to move. I've been back and forth to doctors and hospitals for

Surgery/Anesthesia with PVCs?
I'm curious if anyone has had surgery with a history of bigeminy/PVCs? Is there any risk? I need cataract surgery--so not general anesthesia--but I think they use propofol? Is another EKG required? Thanks in advance!

Endometriosis diagnosis (without being told)
Hi, I first started having symptoms at the age of 20 after coming off the pill due to constant regular bleeding. Which in the long run exposed lots of pains and eventually 3 weeks stuck in bed with fatigue, headaches, bloating, dizziness and even black fog over my eyes if I stood up to fast. After ongoing

Coil fitting at the end of lap
Long story short the coil is my last resort as I can’t seem to have any of the other forms of
contraception
without getting headaches so I had my lap in august which was my third one 😢 and was told to give the coil six months to settle.

Morning sadness
Hi, I’m 23 years old and was diagnosed with endo in June of 2020. I started taking birth control to manage pain symptoms in august, and it is now March and I’m not feeling much better. My problem today is I am on day one of the placebo pills and I feel so incredibly sad. I woke up this morning feeling

Anyone healed PCOS naturally? Supplements?
Hi there. I have a hormonal imbalance since coming off the pill in July 2020 because it was one of the worst things I've ever been on. Before that, my periods were regular, I had no acne and my hormone levels were all normal. After coming off the pill, I had regular pain free periods for 3 months but

I'm new here
I've had trouble with my periods since the age of 13 and have tried every
contraception
possible but the pain has got severe over the last 6 months in my stomach and back and I'm tired all the time! Nothing seems to be taking the pain away, has anyone got any advice?

I think I have endometriosis?
Hi everyone. This is very new to me and quite awkward to talk about... Since I was around 14 years old, I was experiencing awful period pains. As a result, I was prescribed the combined contraceptive pill and have been on it since. I am now 21. Since starting, my period pains can get bad, but no where

Still bleeding and it will be 3 weeks monday.
Hey Guys, Last week I reached out and said that I was bleeding even though I am on the pill, and my doctor said that I need to take a break from my pill, but I honestly feel like this has been a very long period, before taking the pill I was irregular anyway, but a 3 week period is A LOT for me, the

Hematology appointment
I finally saw a hematologist yesterday. I have had blood work 3 times since December. All showing my platelets in the 700-730 range. Everything else is normal range. My platelets were 798 yesterday. I had a bone marrow biopsy in the year 2000 and was told to take aspirin. I thought it was because I was

Tracking Symptoms
Hi all, this is my first post. I'm so glad to have found this community. I'm 31 and I was diagnosed with endometriosis in November when I had a laparoscopy with excision. There is also suspected endometriosis leading into my bowel which could not be dealt with in surgery on that day. My mission currently

Symptoms before period
I have been diagnosed with IBS & suspected endometriosis. I haven’t had my laparoscopy yet. My periods first started when I was 15/16, I’m 24 now and I still don’t have a concrete diagnosis! I have been taking the combined pill for quite a few years as I find that it does help with some of my symptoms

Confused after appointment with EP
I had an episode on April 15th where my heart went into a fluttering type feeling that took my breath away and lasted for 10 seconds. It felt exactly the way my PVCS feel but instead of a quick flutter and done, it just kept going and scared the crap out of me. I do have a loop recorder and so I pushed
