My GP has recommended taking progestogen-only pills to stop constant bleeding caused by progestogen-only implant - how will this help?
Back in September, I got a Nexplanon implant, a form of
contraception
which exclusively releases progestogen. For the last two months I've experienced constant menstrual bleeding (every single day) as a side-effect.

Endo of the spine
I’m very much at the start of this painful journey been suffering pain in my lower back now for 11 years and have never got anywhere with doctors . That was until a locum. Doctor saw me who said that this was endo . He place me on the contraceptive pill and I did improve but the pain was still there

Cutting 20mcg tablet into 4
Hello I have asked this question before but will ask it in another way. I’m cutting my Thybon T3 20mcg into 4 pieces using a recommended pill cutter. It splits in 2 very easily as there’s a scored line on the pill. However when I then try to halve the half it doesn’t always cut right and often I have

Desogestrel mini pill
I've been taking the Desogestrel pil for just over a year anall was good but the last 5 months or so I've been getting reoccurring thrush and bleeding every 2 weeks, this time I'm still bleeding 15 days on, its quite light, the doctors say it's the pill, has anyone else had this? My only choice next

Has anybody found their endo symptoms eased after coming off contraception?
Hi, I’m new to the forum. I spoke to my doctor today and have decided to come off my contraceptive pills as none of them have helped my period / endo pain. Has anybody come off their pill and found that their endo symptoms eased slightly? I’m a bit worried in case it doesn’t help, but I would rather

Had the surgery in December and unfortunately now feel no better for it as of yet. However me and my partner

Cyst bursting?
Hi I'm in alot of pain right now and it feels like a very bad period cramp. But I'm not supposed to be on my period. I'm on birth control and am not supposed to have my period for another 2 weeks. I'm really paranoid that one of the cysts on my ovary might have burst but I don't know what that feels

Beloved ms family, be good to yourself today. Today and every day. Be an ally to yourself, say nice things about and too yourself. Be positive about "YOU". There is pain, heartache and confusion about this illness, do not make yourself one of your own obstacles. There will be pain, and whatever

Combined Pills
I started my second pack of combined pill last March 2 at 8pm. And on march 9 around 10am, I had an intercourse. And now I'm starting to feel nauseous and my breasts are so tender. Is there a possibility that I'm pregnant or it's just my pills that make me so sick?

fed up with pain!
Hi all, First time posting on here, I’m 27 and have been given an assumptive diagnosis of endo based on all of my symptoms by my gynae consultant. I’m on the wait list for a diagnostic lap but that could be 9-12 months. I’m due to start on Zoladex in a couple of weeks as the pill is providing no relief

Heavy periods - levothyroxine
Hey everyone, I have had two very heavy periods in the last 3 weeks. I am on the pill 24/7 and don’t usually have many periods. Maybe 3 a year... Since taking the medication for the last 10 days I have bled so much! Is it a coincidence or do you think it’s related? Really don’t feel too good. I do

Heart Arrhythmia
Hello all. I have a question that maybe someone can answer. Most of the time my heart beats fine. Steady and around 60 BPM. There are times though that it will out of the blue beat 8 or 10 times in a row fast. Just speeds up for no reason and then will go back to normal slow rhythm. Does anyone know

Could my symptoms be Endo?
Since I was 12 I've had extremely painful periods. I've been on the combined pill for 8 years now (I'm 25) and only have a break every 3 months to reduce pain. I've also been on several types of prescribed painkillers and medication for years. Prior to the pandemic I had been referred to get the mirena

Start Cerazette at age 51?
I am 51 and my periods won´t stop. I have been on HRT for the past seven years - first Oestrogel (Besins Healthcare) + Utrogestan (two pumps of Oestrogel for 25 days a month, Utrogestan 200 mg for ten days a month). Then, when I turned 50, my doctor suggested using HRT daily. Since Oestrogel was out

Could my symptoms be endometriosis?
Hello! I hope you are all coping ok. I felt compelled to join this forum because I am getting to the end of my tether with my symptoms and lack of support from GP’s. I would really appreciate some guidance on whether you think my symptoms could be endometriosis and if anyone has had any similar experiences
