Flu and Colds
Before my wife was diagnosed with PMR 22 months ago, she used to be the strong one in our household as far as the flu and colds. My sons and I would get each other's viruses and she would not even be fazed. In the past year, though, she has had very frequent colds and the flu. I have not read too

Eosiniphilic asthma and colds
Not sure whether it is my eosiniphilic asthma or the prednisolone but I am constantly fighting coughs and colds - taking supplements makes no difference- as soon as one goes I get another. Anyone else like this?

. ● Tolcapone (Tasmar) or entacapone (
Comtan
): inhibit dopamine breakdown. ● Anticholinergic drugs: for resting tremor. ● Clozapine: for levadopa-induced dyskinesias. (Note: All these medications can produce hallucinations and daytime somnolence.)

Home remedies for cold and cough
Anyone aware of any home remedies for coughs and colds? My LO is just over 6 months now and he has this severe runny nose and mucus cough for the past 2 weeks. We gave him Calpol for 3 days but it didn’t do any good. Then took him to GP and they said we just have to be patient as their immune systems

Help! I'm so dizzy!
I take
Comtan
200mg with each Carbo/Levo dose as well. Zofran does nothing. I also suffer with spastic bladder, and as soon as I'm drifting off to sleep, I start to go! And by then I can't get out of bed in time, last night I couldn't move at all. My poor husband!

Recurring sinus problems & colds
Anyone else suffering this year with continual sinus problems? Mine started not long after hay fever season kicked off, now really bad as I've had 2 colds in two weeks. Any suggestions for relief? when the pain is really bad I'm on decongestant, paracetamol and ibuprofen. I don't like taking tabs frequently

Constant colds
This year I've had about eight colds. They now trigger my asthma so I have to avoid them. However, that seems impossible. They are incessant. I'm currently on my second this month. I've had prednisolone five times this year, half a dozen lots of antibiotics . . . it's really getting to me. I'm starting

Problems using extended release types of Carbidopa Levodopa.
I have used Rytary, extended release Carbidopa Levodopa, Entacapone (
Comtan
) with the same results. At first they help but after a week or so they start to fail. My on time becomes shorter and my off times get longer and harder with more pain and other side effects.

Dyskinesia
He told me to try it 3 times a day and take the
Comtan
with it. The results have been up and down. At times I feel very good, at times I don't. He gave me the ok to change the amount and timing of my meds to see if I could get better results.

Liquid Sinemet
My doctor prescribed me to take Sinemet and
Comtan
every 2 hours, but I am afraid to have dyskinesia because it just sinemet over 13 pills + sinemet ER at night. I already have dyskinesia, but not all the time. I understand that to take every 2 hours sinemet it no time to have a meal.
