Ok, here we go, magic plan attempt number 4!
Three times before I have done the magic plan, slowly, slowly but I have done it. So why am I here again? Maybe I just love it! Well I do love it but I have also been having a bit of a bumpy ride of late! When I finished c25k in April 2019 my one ambition was to run 5k. I was way off that and in

Rectum Bleeding 3 years
Hello, Dec 2018 I noticed I had to push hard to pass stool a month later I bled. On and off since then I’ve had painless rectal bleeding. I’ve had a colonoscopy in feb 2020 it was all clear. Said no polyps nor signs of inflammation. Dr told me to take more fiber and stool softener of which I did. But

Sigmoidoscopy
Anyone had a sigmoidoscopy? I believe it's not as bad as a colonoscopy. I'm having it this Saturday but am so scared. I've requested to be sedated but reading people's views on sedation for colonoscopy procedure it seems it's such a light sedation that it does nothing. I want to cancel but I've been

Failed Colonoscopy
Morning. Had my colonoscopy appointment on Saturday pm. Did all the prep as instructed (pretty disgusting!) Was resigned to the procedure. All ready to go, camera inserted - the pain was intolerable! The consultant was grumpy gave me a little more sedative, gas & air, had another go - so much pain

Advice and support on upcoming Colonoscopy
Hi Forum Family, I have been scheduled for a Colonoscopy at the end of the month and honestly, I am terrified. I have been under Anesthesia before and I have woken up after, struggling to breathe. But I was also 70 pounds heavier! And 15 years younger with no Parkinson's. I put in a request with my

New PRD
Hi I have been a member of Health Unlocked for over a year but only on the CKD site. I have only just discovered the PRDA site. It is very interesting to read people's posts and although my CKD has been my main problem more recently I have been suffering with bouts of diarrhea, constipation and cramps

Gallbladder removal
Hi folks. Just wondering if anyone on here has had their gallbladder removed? I have had IBS for years and years and flit between IBS-D and IBS-C. I’ve had several colonoscopy tests and always get the “all clear” for anything sinister. This year I’ve had upper GI issues, which I haven’t really had before

How many bowel movements?
Is it normal to have so many bowel movements a day? it used to be I would go 2 or 3 times a morning and be done by 11 am but now it seems like I go once more at 1 pm and then sometimes even after that I have little droplets. It's like I'm always producing stool no matter what I do! I go a decent amount

Abdominal pain with gas, bloating and foul body odor
I have all the ibs symptoms and this is not from the food and flares up when I am under stress. It doesn't matter what food I take, although I am very careful what I eat. Along with that, I have slight rectal pain possibly because of constant passing of gas . Body odor is very strong (leaky gas) and

All scans have come back clear!?
I'm currently having upper right quadrant pain when I bend over and slouch. I've had a ct scan with contrast. Had an ultra sound and Mri. Blood tests fine too. Also colonoscopy and laroscopy. I'm currently seeing a gastroenterologist privately as I'm not getting to the bottom of the pain. Dr has referred

Anxiety about Colon Cancer
Hello all, I am new here. I have been experiencing bowel issues over the past 2 months. My bowel movements have always been inconsistent, but now that I'm older and more aware of symptoms (and have a lot more anxiety), I'm a little more concerned. Early morning thoughts and worries
Was fine all day, went fishing off the pier and as it got chilly my Raynauds started acting up and short periods of vertigo. I was frustrated with A and let her constant arguing get me worked up. After a hard talk i went upstairs and started to get chills and my whole body is achy, limbs in fire and

I have a rectocele and booked for a colonoscopy in 11 days.
Rectocele and colonoscopy. I'm having a colonoscopy in 11 days. I explained to the hospital nurse that I have a bowel prolapse and was assured that it's ok. I'm still a bit concerned. Anyone else experienced this? If so, how was it? Thanks!
