Any advice?
One other thing I'm worried about is the risks of surgery, I know they have to tell you all the worst things that could happen but the
colostomy
bag thing really freaked me out (I apolsogise in advance if this has happened to someone I dont mean it to offend).

It was expected to be complicated due to bowel symptoms and pain I had been experiencing, was told to prepare for a

Rectovaginal and rectal endometriosis having hysterectomy in 8 days. They said I may wake with a colostomy bag??
So she advised that things have progressed and I may need a bowel resection and possibly wake up with a stoma,
colostomy
bag. She even wanted me to see a nurse to prepare myself. I’m having surgery in 8 days and wondering if anyone has had a similar experience? Sorry for long post

First post - my story so far.
I still get fatigued, and the
colostomy
is a nuisance, but I have no pain and am hopeful about the outcome of the scan. I'm also waiting for the result of a BRCA test. I'm in Norfolk, UK and under the Norwich and Norfolk hospital, in case anyone else is?

Laproscopy for endo and possible stoma
I've got surgery on Monday and been told to be warned I could end up with a
colostomy
bag if they find more than 3cm worth of endo in my bowel. I was wondering if anyone else has had this and how you dealt with it post surgery mentally and emotionally?

Gleeson 9 (5+4), about to get PSA result around 1 year after surgery
Had a subtotal colectomy for bowel cancer in 2017. T1. seems clear apart from radiologists reporting 'striations' in fat in the abdominal wall. Had a prostatectomy in mid-2018. Extensive cancer in large-sized prostate with extension to lymph nodes and seminal vesicle - affected nodes and areas removed

Consultant appointment for Cystoscopy: Private?
He went into detail about probably needing a
colostomy
bag after surgery and there is no way of telling its not cancerous until they get inside me. But what if it is and I have had to wait for 6+ months?

Potential bowel resection and colostomy bag
Anyone else had this with their endometriosis? I am only 21, this would be my third surgery. I am honestly losing hope.

Post RP No RT Allowed :(
I have looked at many posts but did not see anyone with similar story: Question: If no RT post RP, presumably ever to the pelvic region, then what? What is the "hit it hard early" treatment option? How worried should we be that he can't have radiation? Recap: 53 yo husband PSA in Dec 2018 was 33+, finally

Colon Cancer Warning
He had to have dialysis twice, now has an ostomy bag and a
colostomy
bag. The
colostomy
bag attaches near the stomach to kick out anything that his small intestine (ostomy bag) can't. This may need to be attached to him for the rest of his days. Today is day 7 and he is still in the hospital.
