RLS returned after taking Duloxetine
Had RLS for many years, associated with Fibromyalgia. Having taken Amitriptylene, Nortriptyline , Pregabalin for my Fibro, my RLS has been under control. Recently started taking Duloxetine to help my Fibro and my RLS has returned with a vengeance. I get very little sleep, as soon as my head hits pillow

Any advice for pain for a broken shoulder
I will try not to offend anyone haha. Could anyone give me some advice for my husband? 3 weeks ago he had a nasty fall playing walking football he is 73 years old and very fit. He broke his shoulder, bruised his ribs and his arm turned black and blue. Since then he has been to orthopedics to check

Rheumy Appointment
Hi I have a rheumy appointment today . I’m really concerned that she will fob me off about my ‘PMR’ . I’ve seen her once before , in June . She confirmed I didn’t have GCA , which I was treated for due to symptoms of GCA . I was in on a high dose of pred - 40mg per day , she tapered me over 8weeks

Ibuprofen
I am having a lot of joint pain just now and been taking cocodamol. 30mg per day. Struggling with walking .I have now also just been double vaccinated so have 2 Sore arms . I don't want to take more co-codamol. Can I risk even one dose of ibuprofen. I do suffer from AF and take Edoxoban , bendohydrofluorine

GP insisting on using CRP & ESR as inflammatory markers...and managing to get a creatine kinase blood test ordered...legs are still an issue
Hello I was called in to my GP surgery yesterday, by one of the GPs, the letter indicating it was for a medication review. She's not one of the GPs I prefer to see, she can be a little vague etc. But we ended up going through my meds and she asked about steroids being on my repeat....I said that although

Itchy
For more than 11 years ive been suffering with extreme itching anywhere on the body, often different parts at the same time, all those years ago i was told by gp to take antihistamines , loratadine in particular, never been even offered a blood test. I have flare ups where nothing controls the itching

Antibiotics
Has anyone been prescribed Co-trimoxazole and Cefalexin 500mg to take together? I have a chest infection Klebsiella and have been prescribed the two antibiotics, however, I'm feeling quite unwell, shivery and then hot and not sleeping and wondered if anyone else has had these side effects? It could

Plantar fasciitis
I might have yet another inflammatory condition: sudden agonising heel and sole of foot pain. I think I've been ignoring it, but boy is it in the fore front of my mind now! I'm seeing a physio tomorrow. My question: I'm not supposed to take NSAIDs, although I have taken a couple. Also Co Codamol.

Chronic Pain Pharmacist Appointment. Meds advice please.
Finally, have my appointment next week. I’m currently just taking Citalopram 20mg and Ibuprofen and Codeine and co-codamol as needed. I find the Co-codamol gives me terrible rebound headaches but Ibuprofen and Codeine (Neurofen Plus) weirdly does not. Codeine also affects my sleep badly. It sometimes

CBD oil/vapes
Hi all. So after trying various medications, my doc suggested I go onto morphine. Having managed to come off the likes of tramadol, co-codamol and such, I really don't want to go down that path again. A friend suggested cbd oil and vapes. I've been taking the vape which is 500mg during the day and take

Stumped
I had my gallbladder removed on 31st August this year. Since then I've stuck to a very healthy low fat diet. No junk food, processed food, carry outs or sweets. My problem is I seem to struggle to have a poo in the morning?? It's a real effort!! I was on dihydrocodeine for back pain and decided to come

Co codamol/ codeine. Is this okay for heart patients for temp pain relief?
Pretty bad back pain. Anybody know if Codeine is fine for the majority of heart patients and the meds we all use?

Any Herbal Remedies for Dystonia

Shingles
My husband has had really bad shingles for two weeks now, the rash is clearing up however he's still in terrible pain, he was given Acyclovir and he's taking co-codamol for the pain. He's on 200mg venetoclax daily, he had to drop his dose as he wasn't tolerating 400mg daily, he will be two years on venetoclax
