Anybody with bradycardia (low heart rate)
Shortly after multiple pulmonary emboli in April, 2022, lead to my long-term NSAID usage being stopped, tests lead to diagnosis of PMF with CALR, type 1, mutation. Along with other unpleasant health effects from that time, I have had bradycardia (binodal) very often (almost daily) with rates below 40

Ablation or not. I'm so confused..
I am 71 years old and am on flecainide after several trips to emergency with a heart rate of 170 to 200. Many drugs were tried and flecainide was the only one that I tolerated. I have no associated heart problems and am very fit. Yesterday I had a consultation with an electrophysiologist he said I border

14 Studies from the 1950s about T3-Only for All Sorts of Chronic Issues
These studies used T3 to benefit everything from mental issues, to gastrointestinal problems, to infertility, to poor performance in school. One study even used T3 with one-year-olds. Pretty remarkable results. I've included links for each study. - Tittle (1956). Effects of 3,5,3’ l-triiodothyronine

Vagal Afib
So I was diagnosed with Vagal Afib after several ED visits and having 4 cardioversions. My EP put me on Tikosyn which seemed to shorten the episodes. I am still in the paroxysmal Afib level. I do not drink alcohol or caffeine. Cut out sugar, eating late and stress. My doctor also told me he is suspecting

what’s a good bisoprolol dose.
hello, I’m on bisoprolol 1.25 twice a day and it seems to be too low a dose to keep my heart happy. The Arrhythmia nurse I spoke to wants to put it up as my HHR today has been up to 140 for about 10 hours now and extra pills so far have not got it down. My question is does a 2.5 make you too tired and

Journeys end
Well after 6months in hospital, dad, last Friday, finally moved to his forever care home. It was top of our list so couldn’t believe he got a room (it did take a good 4 months on a waiting list). It was wonderful and the staff brilliant. Unfortunately he only got to spend 5 days there as yesterday he

Blood pressure higher in the evening
Normally I take my blood pressure in the morning at about11 o'clock. I am on medication , I take ramipril a diuretic and bisoprolol (2.5) at night and another bisoprolol in the morning at 11. I have discovered that my BP is normal at 11am (120/80) but sharply increased in the evening at 19:00 (160/110

Lowering eGFR and creatine
My husband was recently diagnosed with stage 2
CKD
with creatine around 2.1 and eGFR around 42. Between the time his bloodwork showed that and when he saw the nephrologist for the first time, he went in for a heart catherization.

Atrial Fibulation from cancer treatment not standard Afib. Update post EP Consultation
Hello Everyone so as promised an update. I saw my EP on Friday. He explained that Afib usually occurs around certain sites in the left Atrium (? Is that the correct term) and these are the sites they target when doing an Ablation. He said when we do cryo we can't see where the electrical impulses are

Palpitations versus Atrial Fibrillation ?
Over the years, I have had a number of Palpitations, which sometimes they keep me awake, and constant every few seconds. I recently bought myself a Kardia 6 lead ECG Monitor, so I could keep a watch on my heart rhythms, and if this would show up any problems needing looked at Over a few days, there
