Circumcision

Hello all In recovery from circumcision last Friday and currently suffering from pain in my left testicle, which is also swollen. Has anybody else experienced this? Also, looking for recommendations for gauze/bandage to wear to transition back into clothing! Thank you.

It’s been exactly 5 weeks since my surgery. Swelling has gone down 80% and everything seems normal except that my 80% of the stitches are still intact .. I have a follow up with my doctor after 1 week but could anyone give any suggestion ?

I’m really disappointed, as I had the choice between this or a circumcision - I’ll now likely have to wait a year+ for the latter.

What were the antibiotics given to you after circumcision and for what duration?

Hello everybody , I am writing here my story of my circumcision surgery Last month I had my surgery because of phimosis , after a few days my surgery got a pretty bad infection and because of that , half of my stiches fell apart or just broke , leaving me with half of my surgery wide open , after 2 weeks

Is it normal to itch? I try not to scratch, but can’t even satisfy the itch. What do you guys do? When I do, i just rub a q tip gently around the stitches while I use the ointment given to me by my doctor

Open Wound - week 4 Post Circumcision. I have had 3 stitches which came out in week 1 post my surgery , after that it has been a long process of healing. I m largely healed now but the right underside and Frenulum side there is an open wound - a small incision which is yet to heal.

Hi, I'm 7 and a half weeks post circumcision. I finally had zero discomfort from bruising at 6.5 weeks. My bruises stayed for a while, even though my wound closed fast. Anyway, it's been healing well. My question is this: I still feel a strange sensation with the head of my penis.

I've noticed a lot of guys saying they are in week 5, 6, 7, 8, or longer and that they are still recovering. Are you still abstaining from sex? Are you having sex even though you still have stitches, or scabs, etc?

It’s my 7 day from circumcision surgery. I am noticing middle right side of penis is swollen and is forming a wired shape. There is no pain if I touch or press that part. Is this something serious and should be examined by doctor ? Have anyone else experienced similar ?

Just been to doctors today after noticing a funny smelling liquid leak below my glans from what I had previously assumed was a bruise from my op last week, doctor examined and gave a slight press bringing out the liquid before confirming it was pus from infection before removing a lot more of the liquid

I’m on just over week 2 of my recovery of circumcision and recovering from an infection below the glans under the skin of the top of my shaft.

I am scheduled to have a circumcision on Dec 11. Do you know if hospitals might postpone because of COVID? Would you personally postpone and wait until things get better?

I am 9 days post circumcision and I took my bandages and gauze off on day 2 but I was wondering if I need to keep putting gauze on the wound or can I just keep it off and let the air get to the wound ?

Circumcision bumps

I'm aware that circumcision can cause an urethra problem, I just want to know if it can be something else... I really don't want another operation. Did someone went through something like this?

Hi, I'm nearly 8 weeks post circumcision and everything has healed well. I had mine done on the NHS because of Phimosis. The stitches have gone and the swelling has mostly reduced apart from a little around where the Frenulum used to be.

12 days after circumcision stitches broke. During days 10-12 night erections caused stitches in front to break and separate making visible gap between. There's no bload , it don't hurt or anything. Do i need to visit dr, should it be restitched again?

So I just did the do, it's been 2.5 days since my circumcision and I'm not going to lie my head is pounding like a massive headache. Should I be concerned?
