Visited the chiropractor yesterday. She has been more than a physical therapist for 5 months now, encouraging me to be positive, delighting in any progress, really taking my case seriously. During the visit she suggested that she had reached the end of being able to help me at the moment. The acupuncture

Chronic muscular pain - advice saught
Hello, I have been suffering from chronic back pain for approx 2 years now. I have had all the appropriate tests and scans done (bloods, x-ray, MRI), which have ruled out anything 'sinister', and so I can only put it down to muscular / biomechanical issues...I have done two long term stints in physio

Newly diagnosed and feeling overwhelmed.
So yeah, I find myself with very poor mobility and lower back pain which has seen me out of work since Sept '14, with a brief return to work in Nov '14 before I lost the use of my left foot in December 2014. That brings me to where I am today. Now for the long history into me and my body! Painful lower

Pelvic and lower back pain can anyone help?
Hello I was previously on the endometriosis UK page although I had a laparoscopy two days ago to find that the surgeon found nothing wrong at all with my reproductive organs, I am now at an all time low. My GP won't see me until Thursday when I have healed from the procedure, although my physio has already

PMR and Vitamin D and/or D3 deficiency
I am new to this site. So glad to have found it. I am interested to know if any sufferers of PMR have been diagnosed, or think they might have, a Vitamin D or more specifically, vitamin D3 deficiency. I was diagnosed with PMR in 2012 and thought I had beaten it in 2014 but have been in a lot of pain

Chiropractor says I can try
After being on the injury couch since end of December and having been poked, prodded, manipulated and had needles stuck in my rear end, I have been told I can try 1 minute run, 1 minute walk for a whole five minutes. if that is ok can do 6 minutes the next day etc etc. Trouble is I'm now so worried

A little ditty about pain
Hi all :) I'm new at posting on here but I've spent many months reading a lot of your posts and have gained from reading other people's stories and the replies that have been given. Whilst I never wish chronic pain or illness on anyone, sometimes it's nice to know you're not alone and that other people

Vagus Nerve
A chiropractor told my sister that interference with the vagus nerve in the neck, C7 vertebrae I think, could impact AF and maybe cause it. Does anyone know anything about this possibility? I wonder if running or cycling could impact the neck.

Yes or no to heat
Yes or no to wheat heat bags and hot water bottles, I've always been told by my chiropractor not to apply heat to my back because the main cause of pain comes from the inflammation, but since thinking my pains are probably due to endo or adenomyosis people keep saying apply heat to pelvic area, and

Right Traps Really Getting to Me Please Help!
My shoulder muscles are really tight. It interrupts my sleep and everything. My chiropractor adjusted me but it didn't seem to do anything for that. He's also my nutritionalist and wanted to see my lab work I got done in July. I got scared though that he implied something could have changed since then
