Stepping back into the light...update, new dxs and lots of new directions. Long,
Hi folks. I know it's been a while. I kinda fell into a hole and haven't been able to climb out until recently. But I return with good news!!! Grab a cup and a seat and read on. It's funny how life can take things out of your life and put them back in play at a better time. In January of this year I

Polyhydramnios and breech
Baby was breech at 36 weeks and I have tried
chiropractic
Webster method, spinning babies, and Miles circuit. I think he may have changed position but am not sure. Should I continue these treatments? Get another ultrasound?

First run back in almost a week
So after my 4th consolidation run last Tuesday my hip and back have just been awful so I’ve had virtually a week off 😭 I’ve been feeling really sorry for myself but my daughter is trying to get a bit fitter too so yesterday she says to me “mom will you come with me on the first few couch to 5k runs

Medication and general care concerns
Hello to all. I was diagnosed with having a degenerative disease of my lumbar spine back in July 2011. Which has been life changing. When I say I have had all treatments I really have. I have been through and exhausted the pain clinics on two occasions. I have had extensive Physiotherapy, Accupunture

Week 7 Run 1 - Stamina!
Ouch! That was hard, I mean really hard... But I did it! Due to a twisted pelvis, I've not run now since Tuesday evening - It's now Sunday evening. I *think*, due to this break and lack of consistency in running, that's why I found this run hard; particularly the calves which had not been a problem

Hello! I have been meaning to find a community since I started so I stop boring my roommates with details. I also work in a creative tech industry where people get defensive and shamed when anyone talks about trying to get healthier. :p This is my third time trying, but the first time it’s stuck for

Possible Hernia ~ help needed
Hi, I saw a Chiropractor yesterday due to having abdominal pain for a very long time. After losing weight I noticed when I lean back a large bulge pertrudes from the abdomen where i'm getting the pain and discomfort. I rang the doctors and I thinks it's due to me seeing them many times in the past due

Update from Root Canals and Neck Injury
Those who follow me know my story, but let me refresh. I was diagnosed with PD in Dec 2018 at 38. My father and grandfather both had PD but much later (60’s) Looking back my symptoms started after a blow to my head from the top in 2015. I never really associated the two until I ask a friend who’s Dad

Low Thyroid Symptoms/Lab Test Results June 2020
Hello. I am glad I found this website to allow me to post my questions. My thyroid lab markets are always in the "normal" range so my doctor always says I am fine. I have all the symptoms of a low thyroid. I am a male, age 63, and have had most of the low thyroid symptoms for 30 years. Below is my most

Something about telemed not covering physical therapy and

. Though I may be able to continue with her through telemed. It is so much easier to talk to her from the safety of my kitchen table. I feel blessed that I'm still teetering on the edge. The diagnosis has not been finalized.

Chronic pelvic floor pain and bleeding after bowel movements
Got examined again today, not hemorrhoids from what they could see.. About 2.5 years ago I had a hip arthroscopic surgery on my left hip. For about 1.5 years I was feeling awesome and pain free. But then this last year I have had chronic pelvic floor floor pain that gets worse after sex and sitting for

Back after a week away...
First run back after a week. Had an injury so saw a chiropractor and feel better... I should be on W5R1 but tonight I re-did W4R3 just to make sure I could do it and it was ace - no injury pain woop! It made me realise how much I've missed running! 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️

Bursitis and tennis elbow?
Hi everyone, I’ve had fibro for many years and go through flares like everyone else, except this latest flare is not getting any better, I think because I couldn’t access the chiropractor and massage over lockdown. I was seeing a physio before lockdown who thought I have bursitis in both hips and I also
