Any advice please: Could I possibly have endo?
Hi, I haven't been getting anywhere with this so thought it might be a good idea to ask some people that have experience first hand themselves. I have pains in my left side, I've been getting them for so long, they increase towards my period where I am in so much pain I can hardly move, I couldn't stand

Smear test came back "unable to process results"
So I went and made sure I had every possible test before my gyne appointment comes through, so that things wont be dragged out there with tests, however my smear has come back "unable to process results" and I cant have another before december. Anyone else experienced this? xxx

CA-125 test
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site but I am eating myself up with worry about some tests I am currently going through. I visited my doctors 2 months ago, with complaints of pain during and after sexual intercourse, abdominal pain, sharp pains in my ovaries, and pains down my legs, hips and my lower back

Mini Pill Problems?
I'm meant to have a
cervical
screening
and ultra sound this week. I am taking mefenamic acid and tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding, which seems to be working, and co-codamol for the pain (although I hate how ill they make me feel).

Heyulp! been bitten! (off topic) any ideas on the culprit?
Anyone had this, recognise it? A Stealth biter - I just woke up with it, then next day bigger - now a bicep boob. Doc doesn't know what it is (no surprise there then) he just wanted to discuss smear tests, why so many x-rays. so many letters from consultants, do I smoke, why haven't I been back, no

Abnormal period/bleeding (sorry if too descriptive/disgusting)
Hi everyone, I asked a question a week ago as I started having PMS symptoms and then started bleeding, even though I still had three contraceptive pills to take. I convinced myself that it was just a period, and continued to take my another pack of pills as soon as finishing the last pack (as advised

Extreme Pelvic Pain - no diagnosis can be found. Ideas?
When I first got my period at about the age of thirteen, it was relatively light and pain-free. Only at about the age of sixteen or so did I start to get cramps. By about eighteen they were out of control - I would be in so much pain I would end up on the bathroom floor crying and I was taking three

40+3 membrane sweep
Just been for a membrane sweep about 2hrs ago and omg!! It's so painful!! I thought it will be similar to a smear test but no way a smear test is a piece of cake compared to a sweep. Am just praying it should work can't wait to have my baby.fingers crossed !

MEET ME… I AM THE MODERN CAVEMAN…
I am the modern caveman. In a man-made high tech world, I am ashamed to live…… Wait a second…On second thoughts…… My body is the result of billion years of evolutionary perfection. It can put any modern man and his technology to shame. No single Genome project can unravel ME completely. A century

One year old with low platelet counts - ITP??
Hi everyone, At around his first birthday, we noticed several large bruises on my son's back and arms. We earlier discounted this as play-related since he is a very active baby who started walking at 10mths age. There were no other symptoms such as bleeding or fatigue. His pedia looked at the bruises

Pudendal Neuralgia?
For the last 6 months I've had a variety of pelvic pain - knife like vaginal pains, a feeling that something inside is ulcerated, a painful 'twanging' sensation, progressing to sharp pain in groin/pins and needles during BMs and a 'sensitive' perineum. The first doctor thought it might be diverticulosis

What to do with follow up appointment?
As I mentioned in my previous post I had my first lap last Friday. No endo was found at the time. Today I had a talk with my general doctor about the lack of results. According to the information he received from the gyn. indeed nothing was found and no explanation can be given for my pains. At least
