May be doing IV chemo for the first time. Need tips - really freaked out!
Hi, so I’ve successfully avoided doing IV chemo since 2019. But due to bone mets I just had hip surgery and the pills I’ve been on are not working. I was told by the surgeon 2 days ago that I need systemic treatment asap or I’ll die. I’m having a petscan tomorrow and depending on how it looks, I’ll

best treatment after Xeloda?
I was diagnosed with MBC in Feb 2022 with bone mets. I am HER2 low ER positive. I have been on kisquali, Ibrance, Faslodex, and lastly 4 rounds of Xeloda. Nothing seems to stop my progression, Kisquali sent my liver enzymes sky high. Ibrance/Faslodex progression was slow and markers rose. Xeloda

What is role of hormonal therapy drug when taken with targeted therapy, eg Piqray or Ibrance?
I’ve been curious about this and wondering if anyone can explain. I want to better understand the role of the hormone therapy eg Faslodex when taken with targeted therapy such as Ibrance. Does it just reduce the amount of estrogen available to the cell and “lightens the load” on the targeted therapy?

Update on my PSA from 100 to 3.9 on Casodex and Lupron
Today I had my second Lupron injection after 30 days of
Casodex
and Lupron. I got on my knees and thanked God for the naturopathic protocol and some conventional medicine. Thank you to all the prostate cancer fighters who have been kind and supportive.

Worrying study on long-term ADT (esp Enza)
doi=ijp.2019.986.993 I've only been on Enza for 9 months - it has now failed - but before that I was on bicalutamide, and
casodex
, and the 3 monthly Zoladex injections. In total, 5 years of ADT.

No Longer Undetectable, PSMA-CT Results
She spoke with the oncologist and the plan is to start my husband on
Casodex
and Eligard. I was hoping that radiation would be an option, but since there are lymph nodes beyond the prostate bed I'm assuming that won't be an option.

Same Question Again…
My husband began with Gleason 8. 2017 Prostate removed. 2018… 39 rounds of Radiation… after 18 months of No PSA , it began climbing and he started
Casodex
and Lupron. He has had two “vacations” from meds.

Progression of BC Mets
I have had a good run of my Ibrance, (in different dosages), and Letrozole combination since 2017 after 1st Mets diagnosis. (History ER+ Her2- BC) Now I have progression and I'm not sure my doctor is going down the right road. She is suggesting Kisqali and Faslodex. From what I've read, Kisqali would

What to do next?
I was put on six months of Lupron starting with a month of
Casodex
. The
Casodex
brought my PSA down to 0.452. After three months the Lupron brought my PSA down to 0.286. Three months later today, my PSA has slightly increased to 0.321. My T has been <20 during the last 6 months while on Lupron.
