Lower doses of Lupron?
Also, Europeans often start treatment with
Casodex
-type drug; use till it fails (maybe a year or two), THEN start Lupron. Any of you heard of this? Just had my first 3-month shot of Eligard (regular U.S. dose, 22.5 mg).

Ibrance honeymoon over
It's been a good run, but after 18 months on Ibrance and Faslodex, indicators are telling my oncologist it's time for a change in meds. He put me on Xeloda, which I start in 2 weeks. Of course, I'm scared of the side effects and how this new drug will react in my body. Anyone have experience with

0.5 neutrophils and 1.0 WBC on Ibrance
I started my first round of Ibrance at 125mg on March 20. By day 20 my neutrophils had dropped to 0.5, WBC to 1.0 and platelets to 60. I skipped day 21 and will get blood work again next week before resuming. I assume it will be at 100mg if the numbers allow. Meanwhile I'm avoiding grandkids and most

Update in my lymph node metastasis
After 1 3 month Lupron shot and 104 days of
Casodex
my PSA has dropped from 4.48 to 0.17. I get another Lupron shot on June 3. I have a question, may be someone can throw some light on it.

Why no pain at all ??
I have been on treatment for almost exactly ONE YEAR now and have taken
Casodex
(14 days), Eligard (almost a year), radiation therapy (38 fractions), docetaxel (6 cycles). I have not experienced any pain of any significance yet. Is this normal ??

Would non-curative cryo buy me time before ADT?
. -- In Europe, they take
Casodex
till it stops working. For 1-2 years, no side effects from lack of testosterone. Only THEN start ADT. -- Slightly lower dose of Lupron (or other LHRH agonist), so maybe 5-10% of testosterone is still produced?

Hello sister warriors I saw second opinion radiology oncologist yesterday— a lot of don’t knows. Last spine mri thoracic showed Mets t4,5,6,9 and old t7,8. I was told by another dr could not be treated again so went for 2nd opinion. Bottom line is we don’t know if Ibrance and faslodex are working so

METs and Ibrance
I'm new here...48 years old with breast cancer METs to my lungs. Originally diagnosed with Stage 3b in early 2016 and initially I didn't know it was metastatic as the nodules on my lungs were too small to biopsy until late last fall when one grew just barely large enough. Because of the uncertainty

A bit of a set back
I've had a bit of a set back today. I saw my oncologist 3 weeks ago to discuss my scan results. Just before my appointment I'd had an appointment come through from my former hospital for my annual mammogram. As I'm having scans every 3 months I wasn't sure if I still needed the mammogram. The oncologist

After various permutations to find the most effective therapy, he was put on
Casodex
150/day. Today he discovered that his PSA has plummeted to 0.3. We feel very blessed & would be pleased to share information on any aspect of his journey that would be helpful. Keep fighting!!
