Just a little advice
Has anyone else gone from being diagnosed with AFIb to then paroxysmal to then being told it’s completely disappeared? My consultant said to just stay clear of the alcohol and I should be good from now on. It’s a lot different from the conversation 9 months ago where cardioversions and ablations were

Amiodorone
After a failed
cardioversion
, I've been prescribed Amiodorone (after having a bad reaction - acid reflux - to Sotalol). How dire are the side-effects of Amiodorone? The list looks worrying!

Post Cardeoversion care
My husband is going in for his first
cardioversion
Monday after being in AF for a year. Some of the wait was due to covid and also getting his thyroid back under control.

Need to know which Atrial Fibrillation or Atrial Flutter before scheduled Ablation Procedure?
6 episodes in 8 months 5 resolved through electrical
cardioversion
. Doctors keep trying to determine which it is, AFib or AFlutter? Because treatment is different for AFib or AFlutter (section to be ablated) how can we determine before a scheduled Ablation?

CRT Pacemaker and AV Ablation
After four lots of
Cardioversion
, two lots of Catheter Ablation and multiple meds, which are either ineffective or make me feel 'strange', I have been listed to have a Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy Pacemaker fitted, followed by AV Ablation.

Verapamil v Bisoprolol
I have been on Bisoprolol for years . A few months ago the dosage was increased to 10mg in order to bring my heart rate down to under 100 bpm. I have persistent AF and after lots of cardioversions and 2 ablations the cardiologist says the only option left is rate control since he doesn’t recommend ablate

Titrating down from Amiodarone
After angiogram established there were no blockages a
cardioversion
was arranged to see if NSR was possible and Amiodarone started 2 weeks prior to the CV - which failed to establish NSR after 3 attempts. Well one attempt did work - for 7 seconds.

Positive covid test with AF
I had a
cardioversion
in November which lasted a day or so. Cardiologist has put me on amiodorone ready for another CV. I have now tested positive for covid 19 . I have no idea how I got it as I only see my husband & son who have tested negative?

My
cardioversion
yesterday went well and you were all right about it being nothing to worry about. I have slight burns but absolutely nothing to worry about.

Deflated!
I asked for another
cardioversion
as I’m now treated for sleep apnea to be told that’s probably pointless.( had one last year) It’s just so deflating guess my AF is here to stay and while I’m used to it now I just lived in the hope I could have had something to make it better.
