Footballer has ablation
Manchester United captain Micheal Carrick 36 has had to undergo a cardiac ablation after tests had shown that he had abnormal heart rhythms. Long QT Syndrome and Life Insurance
I had a
cardiac
arrest
in 2014 and diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome. I also have an ICD fitted. Every single company I have tried has come back negative. I have run out of options. Has anyone else had issues? More importantly, has anyone been accepted and who by?

Recent heart attack/cardiac arrest
Within 25 mins of having chest pain I had a
cardiac
arrest
. I am pleased to say that the paramedic had just arrived and he shocked me sereval times. Tests showed damage to heart, and they believed the small clot was dispersed with the shocks. No surgery needed!

Water retention.
Hi folks, I had a pacemaker fitted last year, after suffering a
cardiac
arrest
. Everything seemed to go well. However I started gaining weight & my rehab nurse has told me it's water retention I'm suffering from. Has anyone had this before & if so how do you rectify it?

Pregnancy after Transplants
Good morning all, has anyone had a baby after receiving their new Kidney? If so, did they consider you high risk, were you out in bed rest at anytime, etc. My husband and I were blessed to have our first child while on dialysis. They put me on bed rest in the hospital at 23 weeks until she was born.

Who Will Look After Me?
I was admitted to hospital last year with multiple organ failure and while there I went into
cardiac
arrest
and this speeded up the progress of my heart failure that has been around since the early 90's. I am in fairly OK health right now all things considered but I just want to plan ahead
