Cough and Phelgm After RF Cardiac Ablation with TOE
Hi all, I ended up having an RF abalation with TOE on Monday and so far so good with the heart. I have ended up some shortness of breath with a productive cough clearing Phelgm from my chest and a very sore throat . Is this due to the TOE or should I be talking to my doctor further ?

Hey y’all...I’m 34 and had a cardiac ablation 2 years ago for afib...totally cured...however once every few months I get skipped beats that last a few hours and then resolve spontaneously. They usually present when I’m exhausted...can someone help relieve my anxiety. If I even have the smallest of skipped

Is there a link between SCAD and Hughes Syndrome?
She has Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) which is often related to FMD and was only diagnosed with SCAD after a full
cardiac
arrest
(fortunately she was in casualty at the time).

How to stay Afib free after a successful cardiac ablation.
Having had an ablation last October I am AFib free for now and want to stay that way for as long as I can. Are my old Afib triggers still to be avoided? Is high intensity exercise OK? Grateful for any comments or anecdotes!

Anoxic Brain Injury 3.5 mo post injury concerns
My sister suffered
cardiac
arrest
3.5mo ago. She is now in a skilled nursing center. She has moments of awareness, she cries/laughs at appropriate times. She started moving her head last week and can’ blink and raise her brows when asked to. My concern are these jerks and ticks.

Should I get medical ID jewellery with an ICD?
I am also still recovering from memory loss from the
cardiac
arrest
so may have got some info confused😕 Now I am getting back on my feet, I am starting to wonder how practical this card carrying is actually going to be.

Feeling hurt
My husband of 39 years had a
cardiac
arrest
resulting in hypoxic brain injury. He was without oxygen for approximately 15/20 mins. This was in jan 2017. Friday 13th worst day of my life. I was told he was going to die but he has defied all odds. Walking talking eating etc.

Hypoxic brain injury update
It’s coming up to two years since his
cardiac
arrest
and he suffered brain injury and things are really bad at the moment. He literally doesn’t sleep any more, and survives on couple hours sleep a night so my poor mum is shattered and looks ill.

Tests ?
In my case I am told do not have stable or unstable angina spasms yet when had MI
cardiac
arrest
was given an angioplasty to revive ? The same goes with uti samples & targeting with antibiotics .Does no show mean no therapy when connected to sepsis? Or just blame the patients?

My dad is in a Coma..
He has asthma so we believe he had a asthma attack & went into
cardiac
arrest
. My family & I believe it wasn’t any more then 5-10 min without oxygen to his brain by the time he was revived by the Police/EMT. They got his pulse back after a few min without it.

Hypoxic brain injury post cardiac arrest
My dad (59 years) had a
cardiac
arrest
at home. My partner performed CPR and once the amublance he regained a pulse after continued CPR and the use of a defibrillator (noted 30mins down time) he was taken into ITU where everything was regulated and he was at this time heavily sedated.

Ablation follow up/complications
I was due to have a cardiac Ablation last Friday (11th May). During the procedure they carried out the electrophysiology study but then decided they could not do the full Ablation because it was too risky. Has this happened to anyone else? If so have you now had any other forms of treatment for your
