Hello everyone I hope your all well š I have been posting about my experience with STV and just wanted to update everyone. I was seen by cardiology yesterday and it was confirmed it is STV I have been experiencing. The treatment I have opted for is catheter ablation. Unfortunately there us a 6 month

Looking for advice on what feels like chains of ectopic heartbeats?
I didn't get to see my usual cardiologist, a trainee explained there was a risk of
cardiac
arrest and I was sent off for an
ablation
. The ablation of the WPW/accessory pathway was a success. Nothing else came back from the EP study pre ablation, I was just told I had ectopics and not to worry.

I just passed the six-month mark since my second
ablation
at Texas
Cardiac
Arrythmia. For the first time in 5 years since double pneumonia triggered the problem, I have been pvc and afib-free without medication.

And annoyingly, the tachycardia is much more frequent (daily) than it was before the last
ablation
.
Cardiac
nurses have said thatās not uncommon. š¤¬ Iāve been through sotalol, tikosyn, and currently dronedarone.

Fear and despair AV-Node may not help with my problem
Dear forum community, I have a question and at the same time I am very concerned about the answer. For more than 10 years I suffered from PAV which came more and more often and is always very symptomatic. The worst part for me is the feeling in my chest, the pounding and the feeling that can best be

6 month post mini maze (surgical ablation) in the U.K. All is going well, no regrets
hello you lovely lot. I thought I would give you an update as I have had my 6 month (and final eeeek) review with my mini maze surgeon Mr Hunter this morning. All has been going well, in sinus rythm since my mini maze. I had a two week heart monitor a few weeks ago, all good! I have a low burden

Elevated resting HR post cardiac ablation procedure
Iām 2 weeks to the day out of
cardiac
ablation
procedure for lone AF. For the first 8 days it was absolutely perfect. Since then I have developed a high resting HR. Anywhere from 104-124. I keep hearing and reading that is somewhat expected as the heart is trying to heal and recover.

Pace and Ablate update
It has now been seven months since I had my AV node ablation following having a pacemaker fitted in March and I thought I would just let you know how things are now. Hopefully this will also help those of you who may have to have the Pace and Ablate procedure next year. Whilst it has taken all of this

What does your mitral regurgitation feel like?
As far as I know, Iām not yet a candidate for any mitral valve intervention. I have MVP and moderate MR, with a history of catheter ablation for Afib 2+ years ago. (The Afib was possibly caused by the MR, but the docs canāt say for sure.) My question to all: What does your mitral regurgitation feel

Post ablation
I had a
cardiac
ablation
2 days for PAfib . Iām feeling well and was told the procedure went smoothly. I had thought that after the procedure I would gradually reduce the medication over a period of perhaps 3 months or so.

Diagnosed with Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding
Hello everyone, I am new here. I am looking for any advice or if anyone has had a similar experience - I started bleeding heavily May 2021 after 20 years of no issues on the mini Pill (Desogestrel) I had a transvaginal scan (Sept 2021) and a hysteroscopy (Jan 2022) as a polyp was suspected, but nothing

RECOVERY FROM PULSED FIELD CATHETER ABLATION ā ANYONE HAD ONE YET?
Some of you may have seen my recent update post relating to my decision to have a catheter ablation to try and sort out my early persistent AF (which was tolerable in terms of symptoms at the time). The decision was swayed for an active/invasive intervention when I was offered a relatively new procedure

Edoxaban versus Rivaroxaban
I have happily taken Rivaroxaban, without any problems, for many years and out of the blue my surgery wants me to change to Edoxaban claiming itās NHS recommendation. Does anyone know anything about this. Iām not familiar with Edoxaban and wondered if it works in a different way, if side effects are

Something Seems Off With my Smartwatch Heart rate Readings
I was given an IPhone Smart Watch for Christmas, but just started using it, the past couple of months. My question is with the accuracy of the heart rate readings. I usually wait at least 1 & 1/2 hours, after taking my Cartia, before I start a brisk 35-60 min. walk. Sometimes, my heart rate will register
