Sunshine and mustard from the Napa Valley
As if dealing with MBC weren’t enough, I’m going in to hospital tomorrow for a biopsy on a spot below eyelid that may be basal
carcinoma
. I’m actually more worried about the injection anesthetizing the area than hearing results!

Chemotherapy n Prognosis
I am diagnosed with stage1 invasive lobular
carcinoma
(T2N0M0). I had right mastectomy done this month only. After surgery all margins were free from cancer, and no lymph nodes involvement. My tumour is ER,PR +ve and Her2-ve, ki67 5-10%. I have started hormone therapy with femara 2.5mg once daily.

Chemo experience? I'm starting this week...
Hi all, I’m starting chemo this week for small cell
carcinoma
at Dana Farber. Plan includes Cisplatin, Etoposide and an immunotherapy add of Atezolizumab. Seeking any positive experiences, tips on dealing with side effects, etc. Hope you’re all enjoying your Sunday. Best, Leo

PIRADS 4 and Focal Hyperplasia Question
The biopsy report came back and said no HGPIN and no
carcinoma
. But it did find multiple areas of focal hyperplasia (I guess the early stages of BPH - I am currently 44 years old, and my prostate size is normal, a little on the smaller side).

Newbie seeks advice- chemo vs mastectomy first, and Uk vs Australia
Hi guys, I’m new here- recently diagnosed with mucinous
carcinoma
in right breast- grade 2 at the age of 42. Post lumpectomy I’m looking at a mastectomy and chemotherapy. I hold dual citizenship (Uk and Australia) - wrestling with 2 big questions really- what order to have procedures in, and where?

Secondary Cancer?
Needle biopsy;
carcinoma
w/squamous differential. Maybe a secondary cancer, possibly caused by excessive radiation. Getting a second review of slides. Anyone with comments or questions appreciated. I very anxious. PSA; 0.25Has been trending down since Provenge, 2018.

Treatment Post Radical Masectomy with LVI and 2 Lymph nodes involved. Will OncoType DX test be useful to asses chemotherapy effectiveness.
The second nodule lateral to main tumor mass shows 2 lymph nodes with metastatic
carcinoma
. Overlying deep resection margin is uninvoled by
carcinoma
. Size of largest metastatic deposit is 12 mm. Extranodal extension is identified. Right axillary lymph nodes (0/16) are uninvolved by
carcinoma

Feeling a bit overwhelmed !
. 😊 Oct 2018 R Hemithyroidectomy for suspicious nodule which turned out to be benign but there was an incidental finding of a 3mm papillary
carcinoma
, no further treatment as they were confident it was fully removed.

3 weeks after part thyroidectomy follow up appointment
Today I had my follow up appointment wich they told me that the nodule was
carcinoma
but there was no other evidence of cancer on the remaining thyroid or the other nodules so they don't take any action.

Should I get a port?
Hi, In Sept. 2017 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, high grade serous
carcinoma
3C. I had surgery and completed 18 weeks of Carbo/taxol and weekly blood draws without a port (at my doctor’s suggestion).

TRANSPLANT EVAL FRUSTRATION AS WELL AS RISING BMI
US showed a suspicious mass in right kidney so just had an MRI last week and is a suspicious solid mass that could be renal cell
carcinoma
. Waiting to hear from Coordinator about seeing a urologist and then more testing I presume.
