The rechallenge of
carboplatin
and etoposide doesn’t seem to be working. They have suggested immunotherapy ( not sure what type). Thoughts? Also any research out there regarding PRRT? Any other trials? I thought there were threads but couldn’t find.

Is it possible to get back to Platinum based chemo?
I want to ask if anyone has experience with returning to platinum-based drugs (Cisplatin,
Carboplatin
) after being declared platinum-resistant. I hope this is possible because she lived 6 months without platinum while she was on Doxorubicin. Thank you.

What else is available?
Then my onc tried
Carboplatin
and then Caelyx neither of which worked and the size of my tumour is what it was at the start of treatment. I’ve never had surgery. I’ve just begun Paclitaxol, two weeks on, one week off and my onc says, if this doesn’t work there is nothing else.

Back Pain after Chemo?
My wife recently started IV
Carboplatin
and she’s experienced excruciating lower back and hip pain for the first few days after her treatment (AUC6 dosing, once every 3 weeks). She has numerous pelvic metastases as well as chronic stenosis in her lower back.

Prostate cancer morphed into NEPC
Now I'm on
carboplatin
, etoposide and Atezolizumab- chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The following article from Healthline is a great description of what took place, and possibly why.

Chemotherapy after Lobectomy
They gave her a choice between Vinorelbine and
Carboplatin
. She is reluctant to have chemotherapy because of the side effects. I would love to hear from the following people about their experiences: *Those decided not to have chemotherapy and how you are doing now?

Progression and Niraparib
Am now back on Paclitaxel and
carboplatin
and just had my first round. Due to have two more, then a scan, then possibly three more. Can I ask. Has anyone had the Niraparib stopped, had more chemo then gone back on Niraparib (assuming the chemo works.)

CEA Fluctuations
My husband has just completed his 3rd cycle of
Carboplatin
and Etoposide for prostate cancer liver mets. Before the first cycle his CEA was 38 (should be <5) This number is being used as baseline. After 1st cycle it was 30.3 but after his 2nd cycle it rose to 32.7.

Clinical trials
Debulking surgery, then 6 cycles of taxol and
Carboplatin
- the latter 3 with bevacizumab. Followed by 18 months of Olaparib which then stopped working late last year.

Clinical Trial with Abemaciclib and Olaparib
I had a total abdominal hysterectomy in addition to chemotherapy with Taxol/
Carboplatin
, then Zegula for maintenance. My CA125 dropped down to 11, but 4 months later at my checkup, that number shot up. Legions were found at the back end of my colon, on my liver, and on my psoas muscle.

Losing my pubic hair
I have been on ADT for 18 months and am about to start my 3rd cycle of chemo (
carboplatin
+etoposide). Up to this point I have not had many issues with hair loss, just torso and I had almost no hair there to begin with. Has anyone else experienced this?

SE's on Cabazitaxel/Carboplatin Combo
Unfortunately, the response was only partial, so last week I started on Cab/
Carboplatin
combo. This has been a very different experience so far - Day One was fine, but Day 2 I felt like I'd been hit by a truck, with diarrhoea and low red blood count.

Where do I go from here?
No option of surgery because of spread. 6 rounds of Paclitaxel/
Carboplatin
. Reduction in tumour. Straight on to Avastin plus Olaparib (HRD negative). No more cancer in lymph nodes but slight progression in main abdominal tumour. 5 rounds of
Carboplatin
before progression. 2 rounds of Caelyx.
