Injection reactions?
Hello lovely people. I started SI three weeks ago and each time I'm left with a red, itchy patch of above the area I've injected into (not the actual injection site, but next to it where the needle will have deposited the B12 under my skin). Because I'm on EOD injections this means just when one stops

Active B12 gone down
Hello, I have been on loading doses (initially from my GP and now SI) for 7 weeks and am slowly improving. My initial active B12 was 48.1 ng/L, serum 162. I was on daily oral B12 supplements at the time so my results were skewed. I know that blood tests after injections are considered pointless but

Any insight as to CAUSES of cll besides 'age'or 'genetics'?
I think I once seen this asked. But, apparently, not much insight besides 'age' on causes of cll. Some have suggested that it can be certain medicines ; blood pressure, cholesterol, vitamin d pills..etc,. But others shot it down as unlikely, even though I can't find any studies refuting the link. And

Update
Update. Had a phone call from cardiac department today, it was the secretary again who said my consultant said my echo was fine. Phew good news. I asked about my calcium ct scan result and she didn’t know that. I said could she ask my consultant for the result and why did he think I needed an angiogram

Fatigued with anxiety
Hi, I have hypothyroidism which was diagnosed three years ago and am currently on Levothyroxine 100mg daily. My memory has improved to a more normal level but I wake up every morning barely able to open my eyes and in work I am able to function, but I lack sharpness and feel detached, almost like I am

The effect of a B complex on raised liver enzymes with discomfort/pain
As mad as it sounds, every time I re start a B complex the liver pain returns I’ve had mildly raised liver enzymes with early morning liver discomfort, every single day for years but recently both have worsened and the discomfort became actual pain. However, on rising, the pain dissipates immediately

hi, my vitamin D was 73.60 (50-200). Should I be aiming to get it a bit higher? For context I have active Graves and currently on 10mg Carbimazole (this was reduced from 20mg after these results came through) here are my thyroid results: T4 9.5 (11.8-21.6) TSH 1.02 (0.27-4.2) T3 4.2 (3.9-6.8) any

New to the group- question
Hi there, I am wondering what everyone's most effective treatment was for OCD? My symptoms are mental thoughts and then seeking reassurance. I am wondering also if anyone has ever tried to treat OCD with any other all natural supplements/vitamins and not prescription meds through a doctor? What would

Does a B12 injection affect a blood test
Got my blood test tomorrow morning at 7:50 I've been off all my vitamins since the weekend but I'm over due my B12 injection, can I have it today or will it skew the results I've had 12 weeks at 25mcg and 8 weeks at 50 mcg so I really don't want to stuff it up

Combined supplements
Hi, does anyone have experience of taking a supplement that contains Vit D3, Vit K2, calcium, copper, magnesium, manganese, selenium, zinc and boron? It seems a nice option just taking one tablet a day, but is it actually more advisable to take things separately?

B12 and Ferritin results
Just had blood tests and results for B12 are 201 (110-900) and ferritin 59 (30-337). Am I right in thinking these should be higher?

high inflammation markers but no pain.
I was on Prednisolone for about 6 years. For the last year I have been on zero with no recurrent symptoms of PMR. I have recently had a number of blood tests as I had been to the doctor complaining about lethargy and tiredness. I remain active, going to the gym 3x a week although struggling somewhat

Extra folate & biotin?
Since 24th April, I’ve taken 50mg levo daily, with BioCare Adreno Complex, Igennus Super B-Complex and separate Igennus B12. It’s early days, but in due course I plan to increase levo to 75mg, then 100mg, if my obliging GP will prescribe it. My question is this: is it safe/advisable/helpful to add in
