Reducing to 25mcg Levo only
Hi all. Just wondered if anyone has ended up on 25 mcg Levo only (no T3 or NDT) as an ongoing, not starter dose? Just had my bloods back (below) and my TSH remains low and T3 high despite dropping from 75 to 50 Levo 3 months ago. TSH .01 ( .3 - 4.2 ) T4 15 ( 9 - 19 ) T3 5.9 ( 3 - 5.4 ) GP

Undiagnosed Hypothyroidism
I've been experiencing hypothyroid symptoms for a couple of years now. My TSH has been steadily creeping up, but so far has remained in the "normal" range when checked in my local surgery, around 3.4. I had some private tests done and my TSH was shown as 4.4 (June) and 5.9 (August). My second test

What on earth is going on with my T4?
I've just got my latest test results back. I am currently on100mcg levothyroxine which was raised from 75 in June. However my T4 levels have significantly decreased since June despite the rise in levo. My TSH results have also decreased. Can anyone explain what is likely to be going on? I've also had

Fast forward to May I was having numbness to my feet and arms like tingling and had already gotten my Calcium where it needed to be so was able to stop supplements and calcitriol. So 5/24 had my labs drawn and

Supplements
Does magnesium threonate have a negative effect on your thyroid medication? Are there any other supplements that affect thyroid meds. Thanks in advance.

digoxin
Hi everyone, went into AF and landed up in A/E last Thursday, have been on 10mg bisoprolol daily for a while. I was given magnesium and metoprolol through a drip. I was told that if that doesn’t work they would start me on Digoxin. My question!! Is digoxin a safe drug and if anyone else is on it, did

Magnesium?
I’ve been trying to boost my vitamins and built in magnesium. I’ve also been reading the recent research that this could be a real wonder supplement across a range of issues? So it’s attractive! But that aside, I don’t think it’s agreeing with me. I’m (or was) taking a capsule a day, 80mg magnesium from

Has anyone used Sleep Well sachets
Hi everyone Just a quick question. My sleep has been dreadful for many years. A few years ago I was referred to Endocrinology & found that I had been under medicated for my Thyroid & was started on Liothyronine last year. My sleep immediately improved & I thought great but after 3 months or so I started

Sue Johnson I can't find what you said about timing of magnesium with gabapentin. Would you please repeat it for me? Many thanks
Sue, I read what you said about when to take magnesium before or after gabapentin and now I can't find it. And I can't remember what you said. I'd really appreciate it if you would state it again. Thank you. Linda

Blood pressure medication
Sorry to bother people I am suffering from bad brain fog (or maybe just stupidity ) but I need to go back on medication for high blood pressure and all I can recall is that calcium channel blockers are not suitable but cannot remember which tablets are OK. Any suggestions would be gratefully received

A Blip in time!
I am 74 (F) and was diagnosed in Nov, 2019 with PV and JAK 2 positive. I have been in clinical remission for 18 months and take Jakafi 10mg 2x daily. I have an allele burden of 15 currently down from 60 at diagnosis. My blood draws have been within limits for 18 months with only a blip in the blood calcium

How I effectively cured my afib.
How I effectively cured my Afib. I know everyone’s story and situation is different, but this is my journey and how I effectively cured my afib. I use the term effectively because I’m pretty sure I would have an episode if I stopped taking my supplements, but I am 100% pharmaceutical free –

so now I have osteoporosis after RT and 18 months of zoladex for localised high risk G9. I didn’t start bisphosphonate until 4-5 months into hormone therapy- me but being on the ball and medics not mentioning it - odd as already had polio after effects so I was likely already low BMD. Anyway…. I am

Hello, I am currently taking 37.5 mcg Levothyroxine. I have recently had thyroid bloods taken privately as GP would not do t3. Please could someone tell me how these results look - particularly the conversion t4 to t3? How is this worked out?? I have been dealing with many defiencies recently and

Advice
Hi Not been here for a while as I have been investigating possible Hyperparathyroidism - still ongoing, it's a long road! Also had to deal with a gallbladder removal too...but now resolved 🤞 I'm having private bloods to check for raised Calcium (for HPT), which also test my thyroid. As both problems
