Feeling so unwell and so low :(
They said I had to stop
buTrans
patch dr had prescribed straight away as it does not work on fibro pain. Said I had to gradually stop duloxetine and start on nortriptyline working up to 50mg per night.

Patch 2. Tramadol 3. Co-codamol I have tried all these over the years for Fibromyalgia and had very bad adverse reactions. Seeing my GP next Thursday to see what see has to say. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, of any other meds that may help.

Problems driving
My
butrans
patch is due to be changed to twenty mcg today so will be interesting to see how I feel with it. Thankfully my husband is off today so he'll be doing all the necessary driving. Anyway I'll stop whinging. I'm usually very positive and upbeat.

Hi, is it safe to take Co-Codamol, Butrans patches and Amitriptyline? I worry doing the pain relief, but I'm always still in pain.

Adequate Pain Relief! What a difference!!!!!!!!!!
I developed an allergy to my
Butrans
patches, and taking more and more Oramorph + Codeine, with zero benefit. Desperation set in, along with severe mood swings, fatigue, rubbish quality of life. My gp then decided to try Fentanyl patches instead. EUREKA! I feel like a new woman.

Toe pain - it sounds so trivial but...!
They suggest NSAIDz, paracetamol etc..but unfortunately, as was also the case with my mother, they - and stronger things like co-codamol, co-dydramol, tramadol, oxycontin,
Butrans
and Fentanyl patches never touch any of my back or other arthritis problems. I may also have fibromyalgia.

Tramadol interacting with butrans morphine !!!!
I have this morning been to the doctors, I couldn't see my usual gp so I had to see a different one. I ended up in tears with the pain in my back and legs and just propped myself up on his window sill as I couldn't bare to sit. He asked what I was on and he has told me to stop the tramadol as it interacts

20 mg Butrans Patches
Hi there I wanted to know if anyone had any success with
Butrans
patches. This is my 3rd week on the 20mg dose and I'm seeing no improvement at all. I have gained 8 pounds in weight and my ankles, feet and toes now look like trotters.

Pain patches. Do they work!!
I have just been prescribed the pain patches
BuTrans
. In 5mg per hour does. Lowest I think. They have had no effect on my pain, but I have had no side effects either(I dont think!). I am not due back to see Dr. until next week to review, when I can obviously ask to up the dose.
