Think I just made my GP's day! Diagnosis, finally
So have been trying
Bricanyl
again today, may be my imagination but think it has been improving things as well. So a bit of good news at an otherwise bad time. GP was really pleased too, he said 'score one for GPs over chest consultants!' when I told him it was working, lol.

Confused Ramblings!!!
Could it be the Pulmicort that is making my symptoms more frequent or the
Bricanyl
which isn't relieving my symptoms? I know the answer is to see my GP but I just wanted your advice/comments until I get to see him.

Had asthma for years, suddenly getting worse, advice on coping?
Today I went to my doctor, who didn't seem too concerned, though finally after asking for something different to Ventolin for years, I was given
Bricanyl
. He also gave me antibiotics for the chest infection. My question is, how do I know when I need extra help?

Then I was asked to take the label of my
bricanyl
by my year head who knows most things about my asthma. Next thing about 5 minutes in, the exam officer walks in and confiscates my inhaler and told me to see her at the end.

Hello all **Newbie alert**
I've been prescribed a Symbicort Turbohaler and a
Bricanyl
Turbohaler. Until recently the Symbicort seemed to be helping, and then I caught a cold. That was two weeks ago and I still can't shift the cough. Has anyone got any tips or advice that could help?

3 Questions
I went to the doctors who did a peak flow & got 125 so they put me on the blue
bricanyl
turbohaler, which I would take when my chest feels tight & I feel the other symptoms.

Should I be worried about my PF?
But if I take
Bricanyl
because I feel a bit tight chested, after a while my PF will be up to 500 - much higher than my current 'normal' level. This afternoon before
Bricanyl
I was 420, and after 490 - about a 17% improvement.
